i know all that. and fair enough the F15 is a great fighter, but like the F15 ,the F16 has also got a kill on the MIG25 . So top speed is not a major factor in dogfighting. E.g the Falklands war subsonic Harriers shot down lots of supersonic Mirage fighters. Plus in Vietnam the F4 did not do such a good job on the MIG17. This is why i love the F16. It may be only capable of Mach 2+ ,but thats all it needs cause its also very manuverable.
