@MrThenewborn Say that shit man. Motha's out here faking the funk. America ain't got shit for a street soldier and they know it. It's just a matter of time. Until then "funk on".
And to think, back in the day it would start with a phone call. Laying your best seductive rap on a young lady in your sexiest bedroom voice.
With slow music playing in the background. 2:00 in the morning. Asking her, "So what U got on baby"? Getting her all excited so that when U hooked up it would be explosive.
Thumbs up if U have children that were born as result of this kind of interaction, and when U hear this song it brings it all back.

my thoughts exactly hunterpedigo they call it sampling but I call it stealing too come up with your own stuff oh I forgot they can't their not musicians
@nunile18 its hardly stealing though is it?? Any sample used in a hit record would have to be cleared by the artist or record label. Sampling one song and turning it into another song has been fully accepted in music production for around 30 years, its still being creative. And all musicians have copied somebody else before them, where do you think diffrent styles of music come from?
Tupac stole a muscians real beat. Written by the artis and played by the artis. Any fool can steal beats. But to create music using instruments, now that's an artis.
@hunterpedigo to correct you, easy mo bee who produced the track stole the beat, 2pac would have been given to track to rap over, and to correct you yet again this sample would have been cleared by either bootsy collins or the record label that holds the rights to this track, or both!! So its not really stealing is it??
This shit blew me away in the 70's I had never heard nothing like this Bootsy was a star in his own mind before he became a star he played with a bunch of old timers like James Brown, HE WAS VERY YOUNG TOO HE PLAYED WITH OTHERS SO WHEN TIME HE TOOK IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL HE WAS LIKE A BLACK ROCK STAR.
