I've finished the first two volumes of Trigun manga. I think, from what I can see so far, that the anime is better. The anime seems more refined and civilized and it really feels like it's going somewhere. The manga isn't bad, but the art style is hard to make out at times and the plot is presented in a more confusing and less appealing way than that of the anime version. You're also introduced to Knives early in the manga, whereas in the anime their is greater suspense in who Knives is at all.

@THEROCKETSUMMERL0VER Dude, it's heavily implied by that one, simple scene. It's not out of gratuitous fanservice, you know. Trigun handled the sex in a very mature way. This not only clearly implies that Wolfwood truly loved Milly, but it also increases the impact his death scene had. Wolfwood DID sleep with Milly, and the series is better off for it.
