dont even look at the persons fingers or pick, you just have to feel the music and nothing else the person is doing should mater, just jam and feel the groove
ive been eyeing that thing for about a week now. im 13. do you think i should get one if im doing pretty good as a bassist right now? ive been playing for 2 years, now.
ha, 15,000 exactly. well, i'm thinking about buying one like that. i couldn't tell if you were playing with the song or not, but hells bells kicks ass!
Fretless are more for jazz but if your creative you can use it for any genre. If you want to be a good bassist you have to be flexible, and be able to play with a pick, without, and a good bit of different techniques to make your music more interesting.
Lol, I went to guitar center and played both this squire and 2 other warwicks into the same amp and though the squire was a very good guitar, it was nothing compared to the warwicks. The feel and tone were far superior on the warwicks but it all boils down to what you like

Iam a Noob. What's the difference between Squier and Fender. Is it like Dollar Store and Wal- Mart in a sense.

ya dood... i played a fender standard fretless with a pick and you get some wild sounds. it all depends on what sounds you're lookin for. Go For It!

Sting often played with a pick on fretless basses during the early days of The Police and sounded pretty good

You don't want fretless for punk. Just play root notes really fast (which is way easier to do with your fingers).
Steve128967 2 years ago 2
if you want a puncher tone

For heavens sake... do NEVER ask that again!
Your question is to be answered with a NO you have never heard before so clearly and strict!
He wants to use a pick on fret(t)less... what has become of our world?

Jazz basses are the ONLY option for fretless. I'm a Schecter player, and I whole-heartedly recommend this bass.
