I've always thought roy would be more productive as a red zone guy, miles and patch are far better route runners, and roy just isn't doing it. Stick patch in the slot, and roy as #2.

I think it should be Austin as 1, Williams as 2, and Crayton in the slot. He has always played well in the slot.

He's played well at #2 also...plus he made that TD happen last week by being creative in the Endzone. He has chemistry with TR as well as Miles. Roy...not so much. It may happen today though.

I know he has. But when I think of a slot receiver, I think of speed and explosiveness. That is not Roy Williams. I know Crayton isn't the fastest guy on our offense, but I feel more comfortable with him in the slot. I know he can play at an position in our receiving corp, But I do not think Roy will play well as a slot receiver.

But when when you factor in the fact that Roy's position is the one that routes showcase Miles abilities. Right now I'd take Miles over Roy and let Roy perform to get his spot back. Crayton outperformed Roy last year in that #2 spot too....in less games.

Roy need to produce for reps...it makes sense to me.

I suppose you're right. Something just bothers me when I think about Roy in the slot. But no matter where he plays, he does need to start producing like his early years in Detroit. He was never a horrible player. Maybe not... T.O caliber, but he was certainly better than what he is showing in Dallas.

But to be honest, Williams isn't doing much, think they should start Crayton for a game, if he does good, give him the start.
