The Sony was so slow I wonder why? I have 3 Sony's none of them are a slow is that. I like watching these type of videos it makes you appreciate what you have. That slow Sony would drive me crazy I would have to clean the registry and defrag the hard drive optimise the system. I would not suffer that slowness!
The Sony was very slow slower than what it is supposed to be. The Macbook Pro is running on an Intel processor a PC processor. The Sony as probably got self healing enabled and an antivirus program and Windows defender and VAIO content sharing and so on. I know because I have 3 Sony's and a MacBook Pro.
@PigsyCyberBully Actually, the Sony didn't have antvirus, self healing etc on. it actually doesn't have antivirus and the laptop is mainly used for word documents. If you look closely you will see a game pictogram but if you see my mac you will see it has many games: Sims 3, GTA SA, Minecraft, Racer and so on. So i don't know what makes the sony slow because it isn't supposed to do that.
Why does someone pays more in a sony vaio, wich has the same operational system than any ohter notebook ! I mean people keep saying that macs are too expensive and are just like fashion and that kind of stuff, but the OS of the macs are diferent, and their hardware are diferent too. A sony vaio in the other hand, its expansive and has the same OS than any other pc, the only thing that actually changes is the name VAIO in the back of the notebook

They usually come with 8 GB of memory the laptop screens are usually widescreens. I like them but you are right they are overpriced. So is the MacBook Pro 17 which is just an underpowered PC processor.
The reason why Apple is developing all this new Apps is because none of the Windows applications works on it. While Apple trying to compete with windows ppl lose time while adjusting to new Apps from Apple. Just saying...
honestly, i had the macbook 13 2010 model, sold it and bought just a sony vaio like you do i got the EH , and im really happy with it, quz at sony you can disign whatever u want in it, and i got myself a 640gb and a great nvdia 2gb. my macbook was 250 gb i5 reason i sold it is the gb.
tough i love both the mac and te sony. i dont think the one is better then other. (but my sony boots up 2x faster then that. depends on what u have in it.
@discy12345 but the thing is. windows has to support every hardware component on the market. osx only those chosen by apple.... difficult to optimize.
@ryanbogaerd yes you wouldn't have a choice. But i mainly meant graphic cards, mothboard, different processors, sound cards etc. It's a real hassle to install osx on a non apple system. Yet windows has to support al these different hardware combinations. This is one of the reasons why windows is more unstable, yet without it alot of hardwar
When you benchmark two different products you need to keep one variable constant between the two to make a comparative differentiation. So comparing their OS load time is pointless and probably more a comparison of windows vs osx.

I have a mac and my friend has a sony vaio i can't see nothing special on it, and i'm a windows user.
Well i don't know how much a VAIO costs in USA but here in brazil is ridiculous (2x a macbook pro 13' base model)
