@AChaoticTheory They took a really good game, and gave it an amazing sequel. I completely enjoyed the hell out of InFamous 2, and I especially enjoyed the improved dialog and narrative structure, on top of how they fleshed out Zeke, who I didn't really give a crap about in the first game, and made him into a very likable and understandable, and ultimately more memorable character.

I also loved the ending, which I felt was above the cut when it comes to how video games end nowadays.

Few of these games still manage to impress and be original,without being just downright silly! Like Dark Souls, Zelda, or even Deus Ex.

As for the other releases, Uncharted 3 seemed to disappoint alot of people, but i loved every freaking minute i've played of it ( which was like, 20 i guess?),

Portal 2 seems fine, but don't really care.

Batman, meh.

I think the final conteders for GOTY will be come down to Zelda, Uncharted and Skyrim. (Altough i can guess who gets first place.)

Actually, I just don't like the direction JRPG's are going now a days,

they look generic as shit, the plot is crap and ridiculous, the characters are crap, and the overall design is just laughable.I liked the flying boats in the first Final Fantasies, now we get fucking StarShips, even the Action/Adventure ones like beloved Castlevania became something completely different from what it originally was.

Not really a big fan of Zelda, and i saw nothing special with Ocarina of Time,

I liked Link to the Past alot more,

also,the press that is giving the game ginormous praise is failing to point the good aspects of it, like when they mention the quality of the Soundtrack is not on the level of the series, Bullshit, Skyward Sword's Soundtrack is amazing.

What feels dated i think it's the art direction,gameplay, and character development.
