  • But affirmative action is good because blacks are noble and just, while whites and asians are evil. Hispanics are kinda in between. amirite?

  • 2 kinds of people I don't want working for me an affirmative action Layer and an affirmative action surgeon. And affirmative action is racist any way you want to look at it.

  • What? Less qualified students do worse compared to their peers? Who would of guessed.

(Yes, I understand that many, many black applicants are on par with or surpass their white/asian counterparts but I am talking in general terms.)

  • @mattdelhey Its obviously not that many that are on par if they need a law to allow the less qualified get a free pass.

  • "According to a Wall Street Journal article"

    LOLOLOL

Please look at employment, wage, and college enrollment statistics over the last 40 years.

  • He makes a good point. I was not a good student. If I had used Affirmative Action to get into a school like Cal Tech, for example, I would of flunked out the first semester.

Instead, I went to a college that suited me, as I am. Because of this, I graduated with my college degree. Maybe the degree doesn't sparkle like a degree from Cal Tech, but having this degree is better then if I had flunked out at Cal Tech.

AA puts students in places they are not prepared for.

  • There is nothing wrong with affirmative action. It is a program designed for certain minorities that lack the intelligence level of European-Americans. It is a handout not a hand up. Beware of Doctors. Think before you under the the knife

  • So idiotic to say that Blacks are any less intelligent or have any less potential than Whites or any other race. Where do people come up with that junk? I went to college decades ago & the people in my classes were of all races...Black students were every bit as bright as the rest of us. I think we need to keep the idea of the ORIGINAL Affirmative Action. It was there to make sure no person was kept out because of color etc. How did it get to say Blacks needed extra points on tests to compete?

  • Why do you feel these failures were in existence?

  • It appears that if the truth that the races are not equal gets out the liberals will not have an argument. They will have to resort to the old worn out cry of "racism'. Eventually the farce of racial equality will end and the truth will win out. For those who want to call me a racist-you are right! I am a racist but that does not negat the truth that whites and Asians are more intelligent than blacks and hispanics. Everyone knows this but will not say it publically.

  • affirmative action is great, i'm glad you were able to get into collage.

  • Hmmm. My poor backwards African brain seems to have helped me work at google. Oh wait, Affrimative Action must be the reason I got the job even though most of the applicants were foreigners recruited from other African and Middle Eastern countries because no one wants Google jobs here; big brained whites believe these jobs are beneath them.

Man, glad I have white friends who break all these stereotypes you exhibit. Buddy there are blks and latinos who are more intelligent than you, SORRY!!!

  • I never heard any retarded white racist saying that every black guy is less intelligent than any white guy. Did you? What many think, though, is that even with AA the blacks will remain underrepresented among, say, top-level physicist.

I myself couldn't make up my mind, yet. Too much taboo involved. Too little good scientific method is used to explain to me how come DNA works on muscles but not on brains.

That's beyond what my poor white brain can understand ...

  • You are correct my friend.
