  • To Roadking: The point is that you find it necessary to install an aftermarket turbo on a 400 hp camaro ss in order to whoop up on an older 4x4 truck with a stock turbo and only tuning and a deleted muffler for modifications. lol The truck weighs about 3000 lbs more than the camaro. lol

    Trucks that haul the mail really are awesome. I modify cars on a daily basis and I believe that the duramax 6.6 is hands down the most awesome powerplant ever produced under the GM brand.

  • hang the same turbo on the camaro and see what happens

  • The truck should have as well but spun all 4 wheels and did a worse 60' than the camaro. Bring a bone stock automatic SS camaro to the track in some nice 100 degree weather and try to bust a 12.9 with it. His best pass on this day was a 13.49.

  • I'm a big fan of Camaro's, but these Duramax's are just nuts! I'm still planning to get a new Camaro tho :) Last Semester at school.

  • nice run... whats all in the duramax..

  • muffler delete, drop in k&n filter in stock air box, custom tuning, a banks bullet for (for gauges) and a ppe boost valve. It can 60' in the low 1.8 range and maybe get in the 1.7s. Probably good for low 13s.
