ok when i was about 7 or 8 yrs old me and my mama and daddy went there and this was when u could still drive across the old bridge we stopped rite in the middle of it rolled the windows down cut the car off and hollered cry baby cry and i swear to god we heard a baby crying and my dad started the car and tooook off so i know 110% that its true

i been there a few times at night. the first time was scarey (but only cuz my sis decided to gun her car as i was standing in front of it and i ended up holding on to the hood half way down the road haha) also if u keep going down the road there is a old satanist church (there was ppl around it when he drove by they has something on fire)

i was taken to this bridge by my wife, i know the bridge is private property but me being me i went ahead and walked through the brush to the old road. the bridge late at night has alot of bats flying and we did hear a few strange sounds. idk if on the bridge side of the present road has cattle or animals, but something did walk through the brush with us. as far as this bridge being haunted.. i never could say i seen anything related. but it was a experience i wont soon forget.

There was a cry baby bridge right next to my elementary school! And if you go there at night and yell "I KILLED YOUR BABY, CRY BABY CRYBABY CRYBABY" the mother will appear and do some scary stuff! I did it with my sister and my friend. Nothing really happened but we did hear a baby cry we got it on tape!!!

I use to camp here.I heard alot of ghost stories about this bridge,I did research,what i found seemed more chilling than all ghost stories I heard,and made more sense.My research of Cry Baby Bridge,is that they are alot of them in the south.They were named Cry Baby Bridge because when slaves and unwed women had children,the unwanted babies were thrown over the bridges.Having children out of wed lock was shameful back then,so the parents,or servants would 'dispose' of them.Creepy and sad.

I'm from north Augusta and the story is the church up the street apparently used to be a satanic one, hence the reason it's haunted. Also, if you put baby powder on your window at 12 am, you apparently see baby foot prints..

@itzel2557 From Anderson,going south,,,,heading down ABBEVILLE HWY(SC-28) - once you pass Eddie's Minute Mart,(a exxon gas station),,,,go 2.8 mi,,at the caution lights,at the first intersection,,Turn Left on HIGH SHOALS RD - go 0.6 mi...The old bridge is on the left,the new bridge was built beside it.We go ghost huntin every year on oct 31,and its one of our stops.

idk if its really haunted. my bf went and he heard screaming. he took 2 pictures with his phone, both came out blurry. we went at night, and i took 2 pics with my phone, and it was blurry with flash. but i didnt hear anything or see anything.

We live about 2 miles from the bridge and I've tried it and noting happened but not saying it won't. I've been at the old bridge fishing at night but it's the though that will get you. If you're coming through the City of Anderson, stay on River st which carries you into Belton Hwy. You will approach a stop light at Broadway Lake Rd. Make that right and stay on that road for approx 2miles. You will pass a small church on your right side and you will make the next right turn. You're there.

well my family is from sc and the truth is a car run off with a girl and bf in it they slid off the bridge, as the car fell the baby went out the window and at night u can also see the mother come out of the water with taillights behind her as she is lookin for the baby : ) ur welcome
