Because the molecular machinery that allows life to work is inherently flawed, and frankly if it was created by "intelligent" design, then their designer was either an idiot or just plain lazy. If you look at nearly any system of the body, there are enormous flaws in them, whether the flaw is inefficiency or in the very design of the system itself. I'm not saying there is or isn't a God, but if there is a God, he/she/it did not "design" us. Evolution did over billions of years

Yea but we're not talking about organs of the human body. We're talking about *molecular machines* like flagella, ATP synthases, cilia, sarcomeres, etc. These systems are not flawed; they display properties of rational design. What part of the flagellum is flawed?
Wrong. The molecular machinery in the cell is no more "BASIC chemistry" than the macroscopic machinery made by man. There is no chemical law that says a bacterial flagellum must form, for example.
@Genomiques not exactly . if you say chemistry at this level is not basic.or to say chemistry is not basic is stupid since it ( chemistry) is bound to simple sets of rules that allow an atom to be an atom .. we just haven't found out what those rules are (100 % exact),and infact a law is not needed for this your retard, it's a hypothesis that's needed since a law governs any particular area and is almost exact,while a hypothesis maybe testable,and explainable and that's what these guys are doing
