  • and that, my friends was 49 peices of paper.

  • Awesome! You know what i like o do? Take a Notepad (The flip ones) And draw a Bouncing ball! It's fun! =)

  • so uh....how did u do that?

  • so?

  • flipbook?

  • So that was like 12 frames per second? The video stopped at 0:04 and it shows frame 47.

  • A person who gets 8000 views surely doesnt have the patients to talk to anyone that asks a question, simple or complex.

But as an artist and musician i am interested in all forms of art, Animation being one of the main formats i wish to work with.

What can a boring 18 year old with no real skill do to animate, What do i need, What paper to use, how do a properly capture a picture and put it into video.

And how do i create layers, such as your box, in this animation.

  • @ageshero

try to download Monkeyjam(its free). if your camera is compatible you can capture the images straight into the program in order, or you can just import it in. it also has the ability to add layers. it also exports the animation.

Adobe premiere can also be used to animate your frames as long as you change the default image duration to 1 or 2 frames(depends on you) but no layers.

  • nice, but 47 images?

lol , but i was worth it, it takes alot of those to make the animation go smoothly,

    but you've done it =]

    gratz

  • Yeah, smooth animation takes something like 10+ frames a second... only reason I keep pushing my own attempt at animating forward...

  • thats great!

  • soooooooooooooooo good!

  • hey agin awesome animation. What software did you use?

  • software!!? are you retarded? do you KNOW how to tell hand drawn animation from CG?

  • @piglarva they probably meant software to put the frames together, it's not like you can upload frames directly to youtube, I myself have been having trouble finding a program to use in order to combine my frames into a video uploadable to youtube.

  • @zippythewildone Have you tried Adobe Flash?

  • @MegaSixstring Adobe flash isn't free.

My living situation doesn't allow me to

have access to an internet connection

that allows torrent downloading, so even

if I wanted to pirate the program I couldn't.

However if I did pirate it then I wouldn't feel

    comfortable publishing material made on

a stolen program, that wouldn't be fair to

those who actually pay for the software.

  • @zippythewildone

MonkeyJam is a free animation software and is pretty good.

  • @piglarva

lol, you really are a Piglarva

  • @mo389 how? because i have hooves? doesnt everybody?

  • @RagDollMovies

i didnt say anything to you, who are you?

  • why can you see the paper crinkling, but the box is not deforming or anything?

  • different layers, the box is on its own separate clear plastic sheet, meaning you don't have to draw the box each time, it's the same box in each frame

  • @TheLegendofTim The paper isn't crinkling, it's different sheets of paper. So the different sheets have different wrinkles.

  • What programs did you use? I used photoshop and windows movie maker for my 1 amateur animation (the latest thing I uploaded onto youtube). This one is REALLY Good.:)

  • This is a legit drawing son!

  • how u do this?

  • Cool, 47 frames

  • Wow! This is what I've been looking for, I like plasticine animation (dont bother looking on my videos, I only put a few old ones on there) but I would like to start drawing animation, as it requires alot less props. What I ask is simple: how do you keep the box in the same place?

  • save the background

  • How can he save the background on a paper ??

  • 2 papers- bg under main front 1 lying on a lighttable-thats how I animate...check out if u want

  • ..it says 47 xD

  • OMG! 97 scenes? WOW!

  • No, 47 frames

  • excellent how did you get the images onto your computer (computer or camera) and how did you light the paper (what kind of paper is it?) please tell me as my animation attempt has the talent but not the quality
