  • Amazing! Would have loved to go into that field if it had a more straightforward career path! lol

  • I would like to see how they paint those urethane weapons. Very realistic metal finish to them.

  • Richard Taylor is really keeping himself busy going from Lord of the Rings to Narnia.....assuming he was working on the latest Narnia film that is

  • If i didint know what i wanted to be when i grow up i would considder this as a job

  • Oh my goodness. That's a lot of work!

  • I want some of the swords! I wanna feel like a ninja! (:

  • @AlternativeTeddyBear oh my god, me too!!!!!!! :)

  • its amazing how much detail that gets put into these pieces, but in the movie you cant really see the amazing details

  • VERY INTERESTING. NEVER KNEW ANY OF THIS INFORMATION.

    THANK'S FOR THE VIDEO.

  • @sonicfreak04 Hello mr Caps Lock!

  • I love Narnia

  • Wow I'm definitely noticing small details like the costumes and all the next time I'm watching this movie.

  • I LOVE NARNIA !!!! questin does any one know how i could get some faun swords and armor like props (preferrably the lion the witch and wardrob

    but im not fussy)

  • It is truely amazing how much detail goes into the armor and wepons in this movie.

  • Wow, amazing how much work goes into all these little details that you can hardly even see in the movie!!

  • hooray! for Richard Taylor and his merry band of people at Weta Workshop!

now, since there are about a few hundred armors, weapons and such, where can i get one of those? those swords and lances are so COOL!!

  • You have no idea how happy I am to see Richard Taylor again! I have all the LOTR EEs and felt like I got to know him and his team watching the BTS stuff for that film. I've been wanting to see how they've been doing/what they've been up to!

    Thanks so much for posting!!

  • ive had i funny feeling that WETA would be in narnia

    cuz LOTR and Narnia

    Tolien and cs lewis

    were freinds amd idk weird

  • he worked in lord of the rings the studio must have felt really lucky

  • i think is Damian Alcaraz...one of the lords in the film the one who die at the end, in the river..that was funny...lol hes a good actor tho

  • Cool!! Thanks for putting this up! =D

Those weapons are beautiful! Have you seen the detail on the Minotaur Kapiesha's (I have NO idea how that is spelt! lol!) WOWSA!!

    Woah, look at those Lances!!

Sorry, I'm just in awe at the intricity and detail of the motif's and armour! It's incredible!!

Thanks so much for putting this up!

  • Al that work for 20 minutes.. It's incredible.. lol the armor-maker sounds like Stewie Griffin XDXD

  • wow, that's really amazing, how he handcrafts each piece of armor. you know, considering the cast number is about 2,000 o.o

  • no... the editor has copy the armies to 2.000 men :D, i watch the cast of charlie and the chocolate factory's, Oompa Loompas is only 1 person but the editor copied to many Oompa Lompas

  • the same people did the lord of the rings weaponry right? amazing how much effort they put into pieces that barely get a few minutes of screentime

  • Aww, I love you, Richard Taylor, you and your weird kiwi accent.

  • omg! are those real can they acually kill people?

  • Aim for your local politicians!!!

  • ???? I DON'T GET IT??? what?

  • Who does?

  • Wonderful collection.

  • Isn't it just?! I'm in awe!

  • its amazing how exquisitely detailed the props are ^^ Fabulous

  • btw, were is susan's bow? i wanna see the details in that..

  • Or Lucy's cute little dagger ;D

  • even though you guys say susan wont come back some how I think there's a chance that she will.. for some reason not at movies that came from books are 100% the same... so the movies still leave a little bit of a surprise still in store for us.. hoping..praying..

  • yeah! my sister said they'd probably do a disney-ish thing. Cause they'll probably want to do some epic ending with the 4 of them in it..

  • why arent peter and susan gonna be in the next few movies ? especially susan

  • That's how C.S. Lewis wrote the books, the central characters change from book to book, allegorically giving importance to becoming mature and childlikeness. You'll see the characters still, but not the actors. I suggest you read the books, it's worth reading...

  • Swords cool!!

  • And er, here's a tip. There will be two more of this movies coming up. One will be The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair

and The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of The Dawn Treadere. Dun ask miie why.

  • Initial Reaction when I read this: *hand covers mouth* *GASP* lol without even thinking XD

You're serious? I know Dawn Treader is gonna be shown but The SILVER CHAIR?! Are you sure? where'd you hear about this? It would just be really full of awesomeness if this were true

  • Actually, the whole Narnia series comprises 7 books, so we're expecting seven movies. Aside from Dawn Treader and Silver Chair, they still have Horse and His Boy, Magician's Nephew and the Last Battle. I believe Susan and Peter aren't in the Dawn Treader anymore as stated in the book, but Peter will be back in Horse and the Last Battle, only in his older version. Susan never makes it back.

  • Actually, this Narnia Series was originally broadcasted in 1989. I've got the entire series, but the cast is different but the story revolves around the same thing. Btw, The Dawn TREADERE is gunna be shown first and Peter and Susan wun b acting in it. I know... dis is sad...

  • narnia was originally a trilogy, so they would either do 1, 3 or 7... the definantly won't just do 4.

  • The girl who plans susan Anna is her name could be playing susan again in the next one. They are going to be a part of the next film in some way.

  • i mean where did they li in us?

  • too bad peter and suan will not coming at the next movie of narnia..

  • Actually William Moseley is going to be in the next Chronicles Of Narnia film which is suppose to be released in 210. It's in pre production.

  • I ♥ NARNIA..NARNIA ROCKS AND RULE

  • hi..where did they live us?

  • wonderful work - I'd love to meet those people, they are so devoted to their work!

  • Prince Caspian is an AWESOME film, btw!

Ahhh, kewl!!! I loved that movie...Lion, Witch, Wardrobe... and I still do! Wow, I haven't seen it in so looong... Narnia forever!

  • Good Film...theres a mexican actor in it...jeje.about timeeee his a good one!

  • who??!!

  • el ke estaba en el puente y llego el hombre de agua y como ke se lo come o no se pero ese es haha.

  • His name is Damian Alcazár and he plays Lord Sopespian i think, and yeah he is the one on the bridge

  • A shame none of those fine details will be seen in the movie. seems a waste of talented folks' effort. but very cool stuff.

  • OMG Richard Talyor does such a good job! I can't believe he also did LOTR!

  • He did LOTR?!?! AWESOME!! I LUV LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!!!

  • I saw the new Narnia tonight..It is pretty awesome..Check it out Friday

  • ohmygoshh i so can't wait for Prince Caspian! He's making everything look so realistic :)

  • Wow peoples gives desine to the weapons but sadly the people that watch Narnia does really pay super close attention to the desines =[.

  • thanks! cool vid

  • he is brilliant

  • It's incredible how much effort these guys put into the detailing of the weapons, yet most of it goes un-noticed until they do a BTS special like this one! some of it you notice in the film like azlans motif on the pevensie siblings armour and weapons, but they do such a good job!!

  • @characteravatar

I just want to say i have noticed the weapons before this, but that's just me.

  • @killerdanceing That's probably because you're awesome :)

  • for the longest time i was like whats a wippen?

  • richard taylor is the best! he was amazing for lord of the rings

  • soooooo true!!!!

  • Imagine his grocery list:

    1. 1 lb. of sugar

    2. 1 carton of milk

    3. 100,000 pounds of urethane

  • Richard Taylor was a joy to interview. He's so passionate!

  • could u please put the bloopers up??

  • i love the bloopers they always make me smile

  • I love that man...I love his work...these are such good weapons...and the lord of the rings ones were also incredible...

  • ouch! i'd hate to get stabbed, hit, slamed, or beaten with any of those......*wince*

  • who doesn't??
