I have seen the butchery of MQM leaders towards people of Karachi. I was living in Karachi in times when MQM rose to power.

They were backed & financed intially by General Zia's crony Generals in order to break the backbone of PPP in Sindh. Zia wanted to use Altaf as a pawn in his evil chess game.

People of Karachi were fed up with law & order, corruption along with severe shortage of civil amenties. MQM promised them the world and instead gave them death, destruction, looting etc.
