Rude crowd, bad site, terrible acoustics make what could have been a fine video sound mediocre. What a shame. Robert Scott is a fabulous talent and belongs up there with Ramsey Lewis and Herby Hancock. I just wish that you could hear him play.

@Barakx8 Hey this is Robert Scott, the pianist/songwriter from Toronto - you wrote a very kind comment on a random YT video of myself playing Mo' Better Blues in the Pantages Hotel (shitty crowd, shitty sound, etc..) I'm humbled that you would consider me anywhere near the same class as Herbie Hancock or Ramsey Lewis. Ok well I just wanted to reach out across the great cyberspace void and say 'hello' and thank-you.

Great Bob is the best drummer on earth...and Robert's piano playing is so damned good...The accoustics themselves in Pantages is not so good tho in my opinion,..too hard...maybe it's the glass and cement walls...need some wood for warmer tones..now sounds almost tinny...makes music tones dissonant.
