    I love fiestaware, thanks!

  • @freitasex haha me too. I'm a dude, and my friends all give me weird looks whenever I point it out excitedly in films, tv, etc. :p

  • Why do you need garlic powder and onion powder if you already have real onions and garlic in it? Ketchup? Why??? And turkey in chili? That´s a no go! I love chili con carne, cooking and eating it. You sir ruined a great meal.

  • I have never seen such a lot of rubbish put into cooking any dish.

Why not just use fresh ingredients, except for the chilli powder and paprika.

  • You stooped fucking monkey!!! Stop slapping the spoon against the god damned bowl! Any idea how annoying that is???

  • i think u serve the food for your dog..

  • pfui

  • Are you American? This is the most authentic American recipe for Hispanic food I'vre ever seen. Great job!

  • you forgot an actual beer to drink :( ???

  • I love chili con carne... but this mate... your recipe is just ruining it all.. WHERES THE CORN?!

  • @Polackpack

    Corn?

Well the "masa" is ground corn.

I am not sure what you mean, I apologize.

  • Hey... I love Chili Con Carne, and I agree with you, ketchup is great! I think ketchup gives a much better taste, and my head chef in the resturant im working in makes it with ketchup. I got the tip from him. Great job!

  • @reyzii8989

    Thank you!

  • nice video,

    but ketchup ???

  • @kaladze09

Sure, yes, ketchup is used in so many things!

  • just in america...

  • @kaladze09 Hi sorry I know this wasn't meant for me but I'm hispanic and he's making a hispanic version. The hispanic version does have ketchup. We use ketchup in almost all our food. Instead of using tomatoe sauce and tomatoe paste we use ketchup:D

    Great job mister cooking dude!

  • mmmm chilli arghhhhhhhhhhh

  • @yosef208

    Thank you Yosef

  • dat looks like shit!damn my dogs shit looks like this..:)

  • great video. but why the paprika? just curious... i make paprika gravy once and it was great.

  • that's way different than any chili i normally make. gotta give it a try

  • Thanks for the upload, will be cooking this today.

  • @bengtsson45

You can also add some beans and canned tomatoes at the end if you like.

    Thanks!

  • I like your beautiful yellow serving bowl, lol!

  • @cocinelle99

    Thank you ... lol!

  • thats 1 clean pot man

  • This is the worst chilli recipe I have ever come across. The guy didn't seem to care at all. Here's a tip - if you don't care just go buy a chilli. Thanks for trying but It really was just slops on a plate

  • @ChillingOutOnTheHill well did you make it and taste it to see if it was " the worst chilli recipe " i dont think you did hmm

  • Non alcholic beer isn't real beer...

  • @jessv9560 Alcohol gets cooked out anyways so it doesnt make a difference. But yeah, non-alcoholic beer tastes terrible

  • @jessv9560

The alcohol vaporizes when boiled anyway. No way to keep it. :P

  • Lol beer i think this man is acolholic xD

  • I AM GOING TO START CRACKING OPEN WHOLE CANS OF BEER AND POURING THEM IN MY FOOD FROM NOW ON

  • @acyzjpb

    Sounds good to me, thanks!

  • substitute the cilantro with cheese and itd be perfect..

  • @jensonjorge

My idea is to give you and everybody ideas.

You now know how to make it perfect without cilantro but add cheese!

    Thanks!

  • There you go with the chopped onion again. LOVE IT!

  • @ttsandle

    Thanks again!

  • Why don't you use more onions and garlic instead of adding those powders?

  • @rosenscharf

Dried onion and garlic have different flavor, just like dried tomatoes or dried apricots etc...

    Thank you for your question!

  • omg if only it were possible to SMELL videos

  • @ScatterdEraserDust

Thank you and I must say this is very good.

If you like beans and all in your chili.... just look at the description and I have instructions on that as well :)

    Thanks again!

  • and what about garlic and onion powder? why not add real garlic and onions? dont get it...and beer?

  • wow it all looked so fine till you added freakin ketchup dude...

  • ewww.. you americans use artificial ingredients to make your meals? that seems so ehmmm bad for your body haha

  • sry but it really looks disgusting, way too thick. and why so much powders? try fresh garlic and onions. and where are the chilis?

  • THIS is shit.......only fake spicy

  • Are you italian? i have read CARNE it's an italian word, i know it beacause i'm italian!

    your recipes are fantastic !

but in italy we don't pur chicken in pizza!

    hahahahha

    good bye!

  • Thank you!

  • "con carne" means "with meat" in spanish. This is a mexican recipe, I think, which explains the words in spanish. "carne" means meat also in portuguese. Capisci? ;o)

    Italian food is fantastic too!

  • could i make this as rice toppings then add some bechamel sauce on top and bake it????

  • What a great idea!

  • huhhuhuhahaha the ketchup farted....lol!!!

  • My mustard does the same thing sometimes. LOL

  • YUM!

    Looks good Michael!

I think i might try making this! Hope my roommate doesn't mind the mess!

  • I love this... a favorite of mine.

You can add some beans and tomatoes if you like.

  • Yummy yum yum :) :) :)

  • i watched all ur vid like 4x:P never got boring

  • Wow, you are the best subscriber then!

  • cool, looks really tasty, ive never put peppers in mine at home but i really like cooked peppers so i might have to try this version, we put tomatoes, kidney beans, and for some reason coco powder in ours :S idk why lol

    looked real yummy :D

  • Yum, cocoa powder would be good!

  • Yes! Thank you for fulfilling my chili request!

  • Sorry that I forgot who requested the chili.

    You are very welcome!

  • that looks sooo good!

but what are achiote condimentado and masa harina? ive never even seen them before O.O

  • Those are both Mexican ingredients.

Masa Harina is used to make corn tortillas and tamales.

Achiote is from the Yucatan area and is a paste, with great flavor.

  • is there anything i could replace them with to get it as authentic as possible?

  • Sorry Wolfy, I should have told you about substitutions!

For the masa harina; take the oil off the top like I did but thrown that skimmed oil away and just add some corn tortillas chopped up fairly fine, like 1/2 centimeter square or smaller in size.

The aciote, there is no substitute, but the chili will taste great without it.

  • I just thought!

You could replace the masa harina with corn meal.

Corn Meal here in the USA is ground up corn, it may be called something else in Australia.

Corn meal is used to make corn bread.

  • Yes wonderful, another recipe for me to try :) Thanks for the video.

  • It is an inexpensive meal to make too!

  • Oh man, that looks really good! Dude, I laughed so hard when you were putting in the ketchup. It kept farting on you. By the way, I also love your yellow measuring spoons.

    Random comments, I know... =D

As usual, thanks for the recipe!

  • LOL farts, they are tupperware measuring spoons.

  • another mouthwatering creation, those ingredients are so foreign to me, i need to get out more often LOL

im going to try this one too... most of the stuff I cook lately is from this channel

  • Thanks Michelle, you are the BEST!

  • Freita, I am offically naming you a gorgeous priest after making this video. Chili con carne rules. And so do you! Keep up the good work and check out all my vids!

  • If it wern't 85 out today, this would look great! ;-)

  • Yes you are right!

    I didn't think about that.

  • oohh!! looks yummy!!

  • Thank You!

  • What! No jalapeno cornbread to go with it? As per your other commentors I disagree. Great summer/camping dish.

A bowl of chili, cornbread, & an original coors! YUM! Up here in Montana we throw some bacon in there also. Excellent flavor.

  • Wow, would you believe that I had some Coors today!

  • nice i tryed it and it was awsome my fav chille

  • How can any comment get better than this?

  • u rock

  • I bet u rock more!

  • Any substitute for masa harina and achiote??

  • The achiote ... I would leave it out and not worry.

The masa, can be left out too, but you could substitute some corn tortillas that are diced up into small dice and throw the fat that you skimmed off and throw that away.

  • oh alryt.. thanks a lot :)

  • where's the queso? just kidding, that looks awesome.

  • Crap, I forgot about the cheese!

  • thats ok everyone forgets things!

  • A wonderful fall and winter dish, I'll try it come fall. Thanks for posting.

What would be a yummy and easy summer recipe?

  • I agree that it is more of a cold crisp weather dish, I am that far behind on requests, but it sounded good to me the other day, so I fixed it.

I had it with a hamburger, terrible I know!

  • O I didn't see the summer question.

To me grilling on charcoal is the way to go!

  • xoexo

    Great to hear from you!

  • I'm good, thanks for asking! England is hot right now, its a bit of shock to the system lol.

  • this looks so delicious! what is masa harina and achiote? i have never heard of those.

  • Those are both Mexican ingredients.

Masa Harina is used to make corn tortillas and tamales.

Achiote is from the Yucatan area and is a paste, with great flavor.

  • thank you so much! look forward to more great videos!
