omg yh totally agree my hole family watches jon and kate plus 8 and theyre all sad that jon gosslin has left kate gosselin whos gonna change thier surname now kate or jon cause they both cant be gosselins as theyre no realated anymore. :(

f you watch the episodes in the earlier season , all the signs that it will come this is all there.
Kate become too dominant and too strong a partner in their marriage and possibly had treated Jon as an inferior and that strained their relationship.
Kate is not thinking right,rational and wise initiating the divorce. She kept on listening to herself and place herself above her children emotional well beings.

Since she initiated the divorce and now still wearing her wedding ring is just to seek symphaty for herself.
