  • In summary, cows in these types of barns are more comfortable than grazing cows, and are also more profitable for farmers enabling us to make enough food for the world.

  • IF you would spend any time at all on a dairy farm you would realize that cow comfort is the number one concern of dairy farmers, because if cows are comfortable they eat more, therefore producing more milk.

Furthermore, how in the world do you expect a farmer to not go bankrupt let alone make a living if they housed and fed all the unsatisfactory cows that are not profitable.

  • greedy? inhumane? Here is my advice to all you ignorant PETA fans. spend some actual time on a farm! If you did you would find out that this video is laughable because all of the cows in it are quite happily munching on feed. and none of them are bellowing or showing any sign of discomfort. These cows are in paradise, they always have fresh food and water with rubber mats with bedding and fans keeping them cool

  • cruel and totally unnecesary, just people being greedy once again

  • Likewise - thank you for highlighting this. I've clicked like for this but a huge thumbs down for battery cow farming. I only buy organic milk and even then I'm not sure that I like to support calves being removed from their mothers and cows being sent for beef at 3-4 years old when they're not quite hitting the milk target..... So not only Not in my Cuppa but No to inhumane dairy farming practice

  • @gordonj5 would you prefer that calves be left with the mother so that they can acquire diseases from her and damage teat ends so that the cow cannot be milked and has to be culled? Or how about the mother lying or stepping on the calf and potentially killing it? PLEASE do some research before you rant about things. By the way, organic dairy farms usually have a lot higher culling rate (slaughter) because they can't treat their cows with antibiotics.

  • Sadly, I do not really want to click 'like' for this, but you know i'm clicking it for the message rather than the situation, yes?
