Can you explain what thanksgiving is about, just watched Chris Crockers thanksgiving video regarding the Soux, Apachi, Ponchi and other native Americans having their land stolen. Now you know how much I love the USA. but surely its not a celabration of killing and stealing their land. ?
Paul, watched his vid...while there is some truth to what he says (over the course of a few hundred years) the first Thanksgivings were a celebration of the crops, (& survival) the native americans taught the pilgrims how to grow crops (& I believe introduced them to some new ones, like corn?) The native americans & "whites" celebrated this giving of thanks feast together.
BTW - I hate turkey but I love the family time. ;)

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks. I'm sure it means different things to different peeps, but that's my take on it.
