The film shows the general idea of the battle but like Hollywood has to, they embellish it so it can make a better film. But its more acurate then people give it credit for. Awesome movie, amazing song

Okay, explain that shit with the fuckin monster that Leonidas fought, also the movie makes it seem like the Spartans did all the fighting when infact in reality they were aided by many other Greeks, in the movie you see the other greeks charged up and get deaded. before the batte of Thermopylae the Spartans were waiting for reinforcements when they were suprise attacked by the Persians, this shit didn't happen in the movie.
They also built a wall at the bottle neck, out of stones n shit, in the movie and comic, graphic novel for those who are bitches, they built it out of bodies, just so they could look like bad asses. And of course, the stuff before the battle was made up because they had to lead into the battle somehow....so most of it is twisted, don't confuse any of it with reality...also I'm not sure about this but I thought that in the end no Spartans out lived the fight, none of them escaped in other words.
