How can a person look into the eyes of these creatures and carry out what they are doing without so much as a hesitation. If you really look at an animal that is injured you can see the pain and fear. You can still live a healthy life with meat. About the hormones, you can just buy meat from small farms where the animals are outside and happy. They also have enough space. This way you can get the nutritions from the meat that you are supposed to absorb.

well I can't exactly show you but my dad used to hunt for food and some of my friends are thinking of hunting for food instead of buying it because some of the food we eat is unhealthy for us like chicken and cow
i recon hunting for food is alright, if nothing gets wasted. at least you have a connection to the animal and see it in it's natural state - you have to know the animals behavior and it's environment - you're a part of it's life. Not just a blood sucker, doing it for money or buying it in the supermarket.
hunting is free, wild meat is MUCH more nutritious and doesn't have the environmental bi products of farmed, and the animals aren't depressed their entire lives before they die.

The only thing that is stopping me right now is the fact that my dad hated it when I was vegetarian before.
My dad barely tolerates my mom's veganism, when I was a vegetarian, he treated me like a traiter.
He gave me such a hard time, I started to lose weight from stress.
When I move out of the house in 2 or 3 years, I am planning on trying veganism,
if it doesn't' work for me, I will eat dairy and eggs from local farms.

The US Federal Government are anti animal (in Britain, sabotaging hunting is not legal or illegal, yet, in the US, it's totally illegal). I walked past circus trains one summer in the train yard and they smelled like rotten corpses. I couldn't see inside, but I knew there were dead animals. So sad.

i recon hunting for food is alright, if nothing gets wasted. at least you have a connection to the animal and see it in it's natural state - you have to know the animals behavior and it's environment - you're a part of it's life. Not just a blood sucker, doing it for money or buying it in the supermarket.

hunting is free, wild meat is MUCH more nutritious and doesn't have the environmental bi products of farmed, and the animals aren't depressed their entire lives before they die.
i don't believe that the indigenous or people who hunt for food are 'inhumane' - they know what death is and treat the creatures with respect.
