I love how all these comments focus on how everyone is laughing and how it makes them assholes well listen close "unbelievable" sounds like a respect for the power of the animal and its exciting what a great story to tell ppl. the ppl in the car didnt do anything to make this elephant so angry sometime they just feel threatened and will defend themselves its natural. also to have tourist come and see the wildlife raises awareness of conservation for the wildlife it is also good for the economy

actually most of the times the elephants would walk out of the bush and right to where we were, they are every where.

and what is so wrong with getting close like that of coarse it is dangerous but everyone went in knowing that we didnt do shit to provoke her and if you say something like its a wild animal and its wrong for people to get so close and disturb it your a deusche cuz observing nature and tourism is a very important way to raise conservation awareness and is good for the economy!!!!!

It's a good thing their vehicle was on a straight piece of road, too.

Otherwise, that angry old bull would probably have cut the loop across the ground between curves, intercepting the vehicle, then it would have gotten REALLY serious REALLY fast!

the camera ran out of time but at the end the road took a 90 degree turn and the elephant began to cut across but for some reason it just stopped. have no clue y. and there was another truck right in front of us that didnt know what was happening at first and right after all the danger there were two more coming in the opposite direction on the one way road. lucky the two trucks didnt come earlier

I saw a nature show years ago, and in it, a seriously pissed off old bull African elephant rammed, then came within an ace of overturning the jeep the camera crew was in.

You could see this huge head looming ever closer, then WHAM!

I would definitely have needed a change of skivvies if I were in that jeep.

we didnt find out until later that while we were talking to each other about how cool it was that it disturbed it and began to charge, because before that it was standing there as we observed and didnt showing us its tusks so as we left it charged
