Oslo was the dirtiest, scariest, nastiest city I have EVER visited. I was there last month. It's crawling with Islamic immigrants and Africans, peeing on trees in parks, raping women.. There is spit and trash and graphitti everywhere. Google "Muslim Rape Epidemic Norway". It is no longer safe.

I'm actually half Norwegian and picked up some Norwegian when I visit family and I feel more at home in Norway than here in Scotland!

I much prefer Norway to Scotland in so many respects and getting out of Glasgow would be great, we have a higher crime and murder rate than New York!

Oslo is indeed a safe city. I guess that is an advantage I don't even notice because I'm so used to it ;)

Also, don't worry too much about learning Norwegian before you come here. As you maybe know, most Norwegians speak English well.

Yeah, Norwegian people in general are very good speakers of English but I want to learn the language to a much higher level than i do now before heading over, I'd actually like to be a teacher of either English to adult learners, or of Norwegian to other immigrants, so I will (hopefully) be doing a degree next year in Scandinavian Studies and Linguistics.

I plan on learning other languages as well though but we'll have to see what transpires. :)

@avraks Det hørtes utrolig tåpelig ut. Vi har en velferdsstat som fungerer til tross for at det aldri kan bli perfekt. Vi har relativt gode medisinske forhold, bra snittalder, realtivt lite arbeidsledighet, vi slipper kjipe dyr (på bekostning av mindre sol dessverre), og Norge er et rikt land med gjennomsnittlig rike innbyggere sammenlignet med resten av verdens befolkning. Flytt ut en stund og finn det ut selv. Det gjorde jeg.

They have heavier bone structure than most southern european girls, but probably more beautiful faces. I live in downtown Oslo, have lived in the city all my life. The problem is that the city is small, so the crimes are quite visable. However this is concentrated around a fairly small part of the city, especially around the central (train)station. In my opinion it is still a very safe city to live in.
