  • i fuck sheep

  • @Tenderace the bright blue stuff is the latex dye that was injected into the veins to make them easier to reconize from arteries. sometimes if you cut or tear the vein the dye will leak out

  • And it's NOT Auxiliary...it's Axillary. Two different things.

Ans it's not Cartoid. It's Carotid. No "oid" sound at the end

And it's not Subclaven, or however the hell you would spell that non-exisant word. It's subclavian. Long I at the end.

How did this woman get to teach a class on anatomy???

    Serioulsy....auxiliary?

With all that being said, helpful video, very thorough.

  • @jaimyiscool1 pedantic much?

  • the external iliac is an artery not a vein

  • @bruce3329 There are also external iliac veins, just like femoral arteries and veins or brachial arteries and veins

  • I'd like to know what the blue color is in the chest cavity? Is that from an organ that produces that color in death?

  • This must be a student...

  • poor cat

  • Wow, I'd completely forgotten that I had students uploading videos of me on YouTube. Sorry for any inaccuracies or hesitance on my part, guys. This was from my first semester teaching this course and I had never even taken it as an undergrad! That sounds sort of like something UL would do, right? ;D

  • bad

  • professor sounds unsure a bit and camera man sucksz.

  • BOO! Need close up shots and the words are "axillary" and "subclavian". It would probably be more beneficial if the fasica was seperated from everything.

  • not very helpful when you can't see

  • woot! a vid on here from 318 @ UL!!! yeah buddy! lol

  • interesting. though disgusting, but I give it 5 stars!

  • not a bad video, though some of the pronunciations are incorrect...its subclavian not subclavan....and its axillary not auxillary....still helpful though

  • can somebody please give that prof a probe.

  • Exactly, think about how much a stray cat would cost just to keep it alive and no one wants it. Why not just use them in labs so that us future doctors can study the arteries and veins properly and sufficiently.

  • Also, I would be terrified to let a nurse or doctor loose on me whose practice had benn on the anatomy of a cat!

  • Actually the anatomy of a cat is very close to that of a human. there are very differences other than size. I'm in Anatomy class now and we are dissecting cats. they are much easier to get for anatomy labs than Human cadavers. I'm going to be a doctor so I have to be very familiar with anatomy and illustrations are nowhere near as helpful as actually seeing the inside of the body for real and touching it and being able to explore it.

  • fyi thats where their initial practice comes from ... later they practice on the human cadaver

  • im a nursing major n thats wat i have to do. also my anatomy teacher is a doctor n that's wat she had to practice on b4 they practiced on human cadavers wen she was in medschool

  • Oh dont be so bloody niave!

  • Lets see. Put the dead strays in a dumpster or put the dead strays in a lab, so that our future doctors and nurses can learn. Tough choice.

  • Kate's awesome!
