the soud of the r8 is poor.. the car looks fantastic but the sound is to weak. i prefer the powerfull sound of an aston martin dbs or lamborghini murcielago and gallardo

Man calm down. He reved it like 3000rpm at MAX. I assume that car redlines at like 7000rpm at least!. Reving like that to a cold engine in some aspects is alright.Warms the engine up!

In general that's true. However, in this case the guy doesn't rev it too much. The engine stays under 3000 rpm's, you can hear it. It's nowhere close the redline over 7000 rpm's! So, that kind of very mild revving is OK.

reving high under load with a cold engine (the load in this case is the inertia of the engine until it reaches the engine speed you have pre-set with the throttle) is not as bad as reving high for a long time without load with a cold engine. The reason is that the cold cock(a lot of slackness) moves much more straight down the cylinder if its under load. It cannot get aslant in the cylinder so easy if there is more pressure on it. So that short rev probably is not that bad.
