I just started dating his brother this year. Most amazing person I know. Never knew Mike, but I know his spirit lives on in their family. Happy 28th Birthday too Mike (a day late).

the pohles live right around the corner from me and i was at his funeral. this was a tradgey and i know sean, who is a friend of mine, will never forget his big brother. god bless the pohle family and friends.

I know his brother personally. His family is way more distraught than anyone can believe. I feel sorry for them beyond words can explain :-( His brother is nice, but he sometimes overreacts about his brother. Yeah, grieving is one thing but, yeah it's an awful tradgedy. I am so sorry that a man like Mike was taken from us. Even though I did not know him, you can see the lives of the people he has touched. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into his life with us. He is a man you can be very proud of. The courage he had, will never be forgotten.

Mike is one of the greatest people to ever set foot on this earth. For all of us who knew him honor his memory, pray for his family especially his mother, father, younger brother and sister Nicole. He died trying to save others, he is nothing short of a hero.

Yes it is him, He got shot and still made the effort to try to save his whole class in exchange of his life, honor this man, he is one of the few who would ever do such a thing. R.I.P Mike

Mike Pohle is one of the 32 victims who was killed at Virginia Tech on 4/16/2007. He held the door to the classroom closed as long as he could, trying to help others escape. Unfortunately, in so doing, he was was killed.
