However I'd like to point out that the vinyl was a christmas gift - and the mac is actually a hackintosh. but I admit that I also have a real mac and a lot of other expensive shit, like lenses and studio gear. for me they're important tools that I use everyday to be creative and make cool shit. That makes me happy :)

@aentpunktse well for what was spent on that overpriced peice of plastic, you could have gotten loads of other records, maybe from producers who actually play vinyl still.. not cdj wanabees.. also with the money that mac overcharged you for a computer which component wise, is not necessarily better than a generic less expensive brand, you could have spent more on studio equipment (maybe a 1200 or two instead of that dinky POS turntable you have there)

@w0xy yeah, if you wanna be a hater thats fine by me, I will not waste my energy on you anymore or respond anyway. Just know that the vinyl was a gift from a friend, I have lots of other gear that is classified as "studio equipment", the turntable is a piece of crap and I dont recommend anyone to buy that, buy a nice one from a real brand that looks expensive. Regarding the mac I totally agree about the price, and the components - hence the hackintosh. But I can buy whatever I want :)

@Dawg658Jr Hi, no not really. It works okay but you can't really use it for anything else than listening. It's cheap and ugly, but it's got USB so it's basically a sound card. If I bought a new one now I would've bought one that looks more like a traditional DJ-turntable from a respectable brand like Technics, Stanton or Numark. Or perhaps Pioneer, I dunno. But one that looks nice. I'm pretty ashamed of this one, so it spends most time in the closet. This brand is called Lenco.
