@bennytroop1234 Pudu is the name of the deer just like white-tailed deer, red deer, elk deer, etc so basically that's a Pudu deer. About the range is not only in Chile, you can find them in Argentina, Peru and Colombia as well.

@scmstr A pupu is what they do out their butz. A pudu-also called a rabbit deer, is the smallest species, native to Chile on the Pac Coast of SA. Look a little like pigs. Tempted to call them Pambi & Borky. If Bambi were a Pudu, his mom would have been killed by a house cat.

The Pudues are a largely misunderstood species. They are actually extremely agressive when in their natural habitat, usually attacking and killing other small animals like dogs and sometimes even young cattle. They are known to act very cute and cuddly in captivity, but if you try to feed them you WILL lose a finger or two.

The natives used to call them "Aweonao 'lkecrea" which means "Little Brown Devil".
