In America Michael Phelps, Jeremy Wariner, and Alan Webb train 365 days a year for themselves only if they are lucky enough endure during qualifying rounds can they compete for their country. This is stupid as hell. These people know nothing about injures. I ran the 110 and 300m in high school and i had constant achillies tendonitis. So i decided to "suck it up" during regions and i ended up completely ripping my achillies, I ended up having survey and missed a whole season in track. I was really dissapointed especilly my coach.

If you are an athlete, you will know that you can not just "suck it up" and do it anyways - it will only make the injury worse. He did what he had to.

And for your information, why would he even pretend? why would you even consider he would pretend? this is one of the biggest events EVER to come across in his life and he would do anything for it. So if he doesn't do it..he's not pretending.

The reason why this one is unique is because when have you ever, seen a Chinese athlete on any event in Track & Field that traditionally dominated by blacks or other foreign athletes? He is the best that China has to offer, and he is the fastest hurdler on this planet. No other hurdler had come close, even the one who just won the gold for this event. Lui Xiang does it effortlessly as you can see from some clips on youtube.
