oh Wow! I love this game so much. This was a fantastic RPG. This was the first one that you could freely move around and the creature were in 3D, as oppose to The Bard's Tale/Wizardry/Ultima square movement RPG. Good times.
Wow the music sounds really good here. Is this music enhanced afterwards or did you need to have some expensive sound card back then to make it sound this good because on my computer it didn't sound this good.
@piromaniac9999 Yeah, I spent so many hours on that game you wouldn't believe it. I still have it installed and I play it occassionally through DosBox on my Core i7 and GTX 480... it runs rather great for some reason :p
@ShamblerDK When i played this game,i used to get to the final level and get my ass kicked because i couldn't use magic and didn't have a guide.
I missed alot of items and often figured out things myself like:getting the potion of levitation and where to use it to get the scroll the dwarf architect wants.
I remember also i used to get my ass kicked by roderick on lvl 5 was it? i finally beat him but he really has a lot of hp and hits quite hard.
Thing is:When time passes, your memory of where things are becomes hazy and you will remember where some things are but others you won't remember since there is so much.

@piromaniac9999 Oh yeah! The potion was in the bottom of that square room, right? My memory is a little hazy on some parts <:)

If System Shock and Deus Ex are 10s,
If Half Life 1 and 2 are 10's
then Ultima Underworld is at least an 11.
This is the best game ever, only other game that comes close is maybe Super Mario 3 or Zelda 3
