@mecagoenboba I created the music here for another episode of my video series called "Spinning Lights" and decided it worked well for this video as well. Doesn't really have a name though I guess I could try to think of one! Thanks.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude's vision is truly admirable... This video managed to capture the combination of physicality and art so very graciously. Thank You
I was there the day it opened. How wonderful to see so many happy people enjoying this beautiful work of art on a cold February day. It felt like summer!
Enjoyed the clip very much A verse came to mind as I was wathing All about 'a chase after the winds'- a chase trying to corral the winds As an allegory it is the story of man trying to corral his afflictionsthanks
Its lovely ! I an doing a teacher's on line art course in Ireland and a link led here ,I would have loved to have walked or ridden it myself.Unforgettable experience for the lucky ones to experience first hand and beautiful music too!
I really really love what you've done here. I was there for a couple of days, I've got swatches, and also met Christo in Toronto soon after.... but this really takes me back to that wonderful, spiritual experience.
Thanks so much, you've done a great job, and love the music.
Thanks very much. I'm glad you like it. The whole "Gates" project had a magic to it for me as well. I composed the music for a different video of my, but thought is worked well with this imagery. (I have 1/2 hr. videos of this on DVD, if you're interested in acquiring, btw.) In any case, thanks again.
Magnificent! Gates of Compassion for all...

There is something deeply metaphysical in the concentric circles... An eternal labyrinth. Thank you, from Uruguay.

Gorgeous. I love the way the camera travels against the direction of the wind so that each curtain lifts to let the viewer through.

Thanks for this, as a former NY'er I was there after they'd already been taken down. Nice to see and cop a feel for what it was like!

Once again, my wife wishes me to express her exaltation to be able to watch the Gates moving, she only knew them from pictures, thanks.

Woah...I don't know what it is about that helmet cam,
but it looks like the gates are bowing outward as you
pass through them...as if they wear opening wider to
make way for you.
