These things have the power, definitely. We have an E-250 conversion van (8.5 feet tall) and it'll top 91 mph with it's aerodynamics of a turkey. Acceleration on the other hand is great! at least for it's size and weight

@chadro85 lol ok so a 20 pound bike compared to a 6000+ pound van? It's might be easy for most everything but to see something as heavy as that massive van do it that easy is pretty cool... I've went up hills on my dirt bike that no truck could ever even attempt... so comparing dirt bikes to vans isn't much of a competition in my eyes lol

@TheAmericanUhate yeah but a van has 4 wheels. 4-wheel drive bigger more meatty tires, power steering, more weight on those tires for more traction and lots more power. the dirt bike has 2 wheels, 1 wheel drive. smaller wheels. obviously no power steering. and less power. and same for the mountain bike but with no motor at all and way smaller tires. and beside i sure 6000+ lb is no problem for that 5.4 V8 engine

@chadro85 Why in hell would anyone ever need power steering on a motorcycle? That is just stupid to even say. Bigger and heavy weight does NOT help going up hill for anything no matter what it is... I don't know if you have heard of this little thing called gravity or not, but it really makes going up hill worse the more heavy something is. Actually the power to weight ratio is extremely higher for the bike then the van, so technically the bike has more power.

@TheAmericanUhate yeah. but it takes more skill and strength to ride a bike on this stuff. what i ment was power steering / breaks make is easyer for the driver. bigger, meatty, tires really do better on rocks and steep slopes like this. and weight can give you more traction. for e.x in the snow a flatbed truck does better with some kind of weight on it then on with out it

@chadro85 It takes very little to no skill at all to ride a motorcycle on smooth flat rocks like this trail. Power steering would be 100% useless shit on any motorcycle. Motorcycles does have hydraulic brakes, they don't need power when they only weigh 220 pounds. More weight on snow helps because the ice, the weight stops it from sliding which is totally different then going UP hill. Motorcycles wins in every single thing you have named against any van or truck out there.

@TheAmericanUhate oh no its not dude. it may look smooth in videos but it is not. infact the smooth looking stuff can be bumpy on a bike, i can even send you a video to prove it. its also much slippery then you would think, plus puddles in the bottem (and like i said before this is not the deeppest hot tub, this is the easy one. i can send you a video of that to.)

@chadro85 I raced cross country for 2 years, I raced MX for another 4 years, I raced arena cross for 3 more years. I know what the fuck I am talking about, you are getting your info off youtube, I am not. I have rode that stuff myself on my yz250f and yz450f both. This stuff is nothing at all for any dirt bike. You are not going to tell me any different when I know from experience. You obviously do not know and have never rode any type of bike or motorcycle.

@TheAmericanUhate well theres the problem right there man. you see not everyone can be as good as you.so yeah sure for you thats easy takes "no skill at all" to ride somthing like that to you. but that does'nt mean its going to be easy for everyone. and also i do have a dirt bike. and video to prove it

@chadro85 there is plenty of videos with noobs riding dirt bikes out there in the moab and they are doing fairly well, a few fall overs but nothing major. No matter how you look at it a bike will always do better then a van/truck. The only place it won't do as good is in the deep mud. You are still comparing a dirt bike that has the power to weight ratio of an F1 race car to a 8,700 pound van that has the power to weight ratio of a giant turd.

You was basically comparing a dirt bike to it saying it was so easy that even a dirt bike could do it.. which is a very dumb thing to compare it to. (even tho that is not totaly true)
