  • The smoke at 5:30 looks mighty healthy. That lovely hue of what i would like to call "your face will melt orange."

  • Nice gold earings , sniff sniff watch Video> AIMEE ALLEN RON PAUL WAKE UP AMERICA

  • This is boring.

  • all i heard was "nip nip nip nip nip"

  • her accent!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • @meyoubeer

    now its funny that you point it out lol ;___;

  • elemental mercury is in no way poisonous, it is th mercury salts that are absorbed by the skin and can kill

  • @TheBruham then play with it for an hour.. or even better taste it... it is in no way poisonous...

Since it is elemental mercury it won't react with the environment (your skin) and form the salts/oxids you mentioned right?

    Also Elemental mercury evaporates..

  • @TheBruham Excuse me? Elemental mercury is definitely toxic, and while it's not as toxic as methylmercury, it is often present in amounts great enough to be just as bad. Instead of listening to people peddling snake-oil, why not actually take some time to do UNBIASED reading?

  • So this is what an Asian Meth Lab looks like......

  • ASIAN !!!!

  • Where is the rest of the videos?

  • ...now Obama dictates law for fluorescent-bulbs only... all of which utilise mercury-vapor to work... Yep, socialist libs know what it's all about... Cyanide, it figures. fuggin' commies- ass-whole-fully!

  • MIEPIE OELOEKIE ARIEKIE ANDAKIE RETARDIE LANGUAGIE

  • wtf is the point for the little nuggets ????

  • AT 6:24 i thought he through a child

  • @phillypimp someone has to tell somebody about it how do you know what she does off camera ur a troll simple as that

  • me love you long time

  • Who here did not understand 1 word she said

  • Hi, I am in new york, please let me know, where I could buy the water box condenser?

  • Impressive operation they have going there, probably cost less than a grand to set up. The willingness to accept injury and pollution allows this type of low budget artisanal mining.

  • I WANNA TAP THAT.

  • If you play with mercury then you will die slowly that is the real truth

  • this is fucking disturbiinngggg...... oh man im bothered

  • Actually, pure elemental mercury is relatively harmless. You can hold it in your hands, you can even drink it.

It's the vapours that are dangerous, as the mercury vapours can pass into your blood stream and deposit in your brain.

That said, it's good that these people are trying to provide recapturing and condensing devices so that less mercury vapours are being released into the open environment.

  • crazy bitch ...

  • shes hot

  • "established in ninety ninety nine

  • Furthermore,

Blame the safety procedures not the compound..

P.S cyanide is far more poisonous than mercury.

  • if we expose ourselves to enough mercury now, future generations will evolve to have a resistance against mercury. therefore, we will create a super race of humans.

  • Damn strong accent much?

  • @myfeet14 you don't need to push your racism towards to anyone you don't even know. Remember War is over & We are fighting over at middle east. Rest of many countries are OUR Allies.

  • @maxinpains

Im not even being racist. Calm down

  • @myfeet14

Fair enough. I'm a Solid American & I believe varaieties of people lives under a big roof in peacefully. If I hear Strong accent people I'd listen.I don't take any advantages or make fun with humiliations over them. Everytime, I go to other country That's how they treated me. & As an American, I do the Same. The lady is providing us a very important health issues on Mercury &U.S.Hobby Prospectors. We must learn from our past & current mistakes If so I must be misunderstood you.

  • these poor guys should be extremely mercury poisoned from all of the invisible mercury vapors

  • You should start the video with the gold extraction process or more 'captivating' shots, not the lady talking. More people will watch the video and learn if it's more visually engaging in the beginning.

  • dare you to jump in that vat in the end.

  • wow they were holding mercury and packing it into balls like nothing without gloves oh boy that doesn't sound good....

  • modern an iyayangan,,,lol

  • very wrong

  • OMG she is scary!

  • @XxTaylor88xX if i try hard enough

  • @XxTaylor88xX am i the only one that knows she makes more then taylor?!

  • @XxTaylor88xX No , but you're the only one who's ignorant. :)

  • @zenzodyne Then I guess everybody else is who liked my comment. :)

  • @XxTaylor88xX Obviously :)

  • i play with mercury with bare hands and always have for years and nothing has ever happened maybe because i never ate it

  • @BIGMCBUFFLARGEHUGE

Heavy metal poisoning is a slow, long term killer. Check out Minamata disease, Japan. To mess around with it once or twice as a child does not normally show up. It's the continuous exposure. The metal just builds and builds in the body.

Today, EDTA is used to drain the poison.

Since the attack is on the nervous system you get expressions like 'mad as a hatter' from Hg based leather processing.

Go to EPA. Hg is no joke.

  • gaga

  • @BIGMCBUFFLARGEHUGE

    Have your blood tested.

  • DO THEY EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS?

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • This is VERY disturbing. Hg is CERTAIN to destroy the lives of anyone touching it all the time. Hence the term: mad as a hatter -mad hatter. Back in the day HgCl was used to process hat leather. It maddened and killed the workforce.

The cyanide process could and should entirely replace the amalgam process. Wasting time and effort with amalgam trommels gives me pain.

The workers are literally KILLING themselves, starting with their sex drive.

    Hg is brain poison!

  • @staydput

The only thing that's brain poison right now is you.

  • @staydput yawn.

  • @staydput They were not "maddened", but the mercury affected the nerves, causing twitching.

Also, just a minor detail, but the process was for making fur felt, not tanning leather.

The mercury vapours caused the hairs from the fur (typically beaver) to clump together like dryer lint, which was then formed by hand into felt.

  • @BigBadBill2323

The expression was, " He was as mad as a hatter."

Those were the exact words used at the time. Those compounds are now flatly prohibited from the commercial trade.

  • @staydput you're obviously not a chemist

  • @spotlightman1234

My bonafides are overwhelming. You couldn't be more wrong.

You did make me laugh, though.

    Thanks.

  • @staydput just was kinda trollin i'm sure you get "you're obviously not a chemist" all the time trollface.jpg

  • @staydput

Hg is harmless and cannot be absorbed by the human body or any organic body for that matter. The compounds are no more dangerous than other compounds with metals in its weight group. All known mercury compounds are heavier than air, so there is no way for airborne contamination, sea contamination is possible but highly unlikely as the compound will due to metallic bonding remain as a whole body and not separate other than possibly into wildlife.

  • @staydput cool story bro

  • @staydput Cyanide is so much safer

  • @staydput yup...same with "death clocks".......By the time clockmakers were done making two or three, they were dead!

  • @staydput because cyanide is so much safer!

  • @staydput they could be using elemental mercury which doesn't have the contact issue

  • These guys must hate their children.

Go with vacuum. Even a simple manually driven vacuum does wonders for capturing Hg.

    Generally, I hate Hg.

  • lol love the captions

  • courageous. keep up the good work...

  • What do rich people care about this? Hey - if your're super rich it kills off the annoying poor.

  • @darthspeaks you forgot something, the super rich get their gold, kills the poor to get it. accomplishes double objective

  • Very informative, thank you ;-)
