i've got a similar display i ripped out of an old VCR, can't find the datasheet for it either. whats the part number for your display and driver chip? also what voltages does it require for power supply?
@milkkart this displays don't have any datasheet. you must to find out pinnout yoursefl. Voltage on anode and grid is about 12-15VDC and voltage of the heater us about 4-6VAC. But careful! VFDs from VCR (expecialy new ones),and DVD Players have CIG (Chip In Glaas). That display you can trow away becouse is usless. Sorry for my bad english :(.
@MrSomeone4321 this was a really old vcr, still used potentiometers to set time and dates for recording, the chip is definitely separate. do you need the right driver chip or can it be used with a different chip or maybe driven directly from the parallel port somehow? thanks.
