I agree. I love dogs (esp bassets), but whenever a pet shop like Petland says they get their pups from "registered breeders" that's code for puppy mills.
*nods* I never have and never, ever plan to buy from a petstore. We just decided to drop in and play with one of the puppies to elongate our break from the long car ride
Yeah, it's always best to meet both parents or get a rescue. Lovely dog though, how could you not bring him home!

I wish my bassett was still a puppy. Nothing can appraoch the cuteness of a bassett hound puppy.

hehe, if I didn't have a puppy coming in the middle of august, I just might have.
