  • nice,, dont really need it thou,,, just do the flight plan on the gps

  • So all I need to do is look at my IPADs page showing the frequency I want, select that frequency, then push the appropriate touchscreen buttons to send that frequency wirelessly to the KSN unit, Then verify that it is, in fact, the freq I need in standby.

Or I can enter the frequency I need into the KSN after looking it up in the database that's in the KSN (already verified at that point. Cool stuff? Sure. Big benefit to CRM? Not really. It will impress friends and family though! :)

  • COOL, now I can watch glass pr0n!

  • Hey Aspen ! You wanna do something impressive ? Why don't you get rid of the need for a separate GPS now and just use the connect devices instead ? That way I don't have to buy a KNS 770 or Garmin 430 just to have the miracle of glass.

  • @savagecub ,,, well i would think because the pads are not certified ,, and i would think because it is not a hard line between the 2

  • I was thinking of that caricature that the software was asking for an expired license update right on landing.

  • Aviation will be changing really, REALLY fast for now on.

  • @cjracer1000 So true mate! This is incredible... yet so simple.

  • I want to see netbooks in the cockpit. Touchscreens just aren't good for bumpy environments.

  • Nice. I like.
