Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
A band from the time of music when it took talent to get to the top of the charts and not just a pretty face. Talented men who deserve the title "Artists". Thank you for your contribution to fine music and thanks to the poster who put this video on YT.
@AnthonyT50 this is to the dummy that reffered to Mark Andes as a "pretty face" 1st he'd kick your ass,2nd he was in Spirit and Jojo Gunne before Firefall both critically acclaimed rock bands. He blew his Hair out to make a few million- so would you- he does whatever he wants to now- mostly playing with friends and snagging more girls than you can buy pornos of. Mark is my bass playing Hero- he does it all, charity, chicks, helping other folks, taking care of the family and legendary bass player!
@bobmon54 I think you misunderstood my post. I wasn't calling anyone including Mark Andes a no talent pretty face. I was complimenting the group for being very talented and rising to the top of the music business.
@tobyrec I totally agree, truly professionals. Wish they would come to Australia. I have listened to them from the beginning of their career and would love to see them 'Live'.
@BluQuartz .Hi.thanx for your comment, but these bands hardly come to europe or holland where i live...wish they would then i would be in front of the stage enjoying these songs wich gives me the shivers.
Talk about diamonds in the ruff !!!! This band is SMOKIN !!!!!! I am 48 and just discovered them !!!!! I thank you all for the wonderful insight into this wonderful band . I am hooked !!!!!!!
Saw them soon after the 1st album, & yeah, they certainly kicked butt live! Opened for Al Stewart, blew him off the stage.... My band back then played Mexico, a great tune to jam out on. And Rick is doing better, writing & singing again, so keep a look out...
Firefall ROCKS!! Most people have no idea who they are. I'm 42/F and I grew up with hippie parents who rocked out and Firefall was by far my all time favorite.
Thanks for posting this! Huge FF fan since to 70's. Amazing I moved to Colorado in the 90's not realizing they were locals here. Now I am SPOILED ! I get to see them a bunch in small bars and venues out here, as well as some bigger places. From Red Rocks to The Little Bear in Evergreen, and local fests in Conifer. This is a great example of how Jock Bartley jams out. SWEET! THANKS !
Sounds good even with only one original member....Jock Bartley. Steven Weinmeister did a good job singing. I couldn't tell it wasn't Rick Roberts due to the camera.
@ROCKSTARCRANE Hey if they need one, I'll volunteer...again. I auditioned for them when the band was just starting out in Boulder. Maybe I'd do better this time.
My God, you can actually hear the acoustic guitar....most of the time the sound guys bury everything with kick drum. The drums actually could have been way up in the mix here. The lead singer they had in the early 80's actually sang this better....
Wow. I heard these guys are playing in Van Wert Oh. in Sept. (a few miles away), so I web-surfed. I will be ordering tix soon. saw them several times in the 80's Incredible musicianship and great music!
I saw Firefall twice years ago but was too drunk to realize how good they really are. I have recently been listening to some of their stuff and really appreciate them. It appears that their original lead singer is very sick and is not with them. I just bought tickets to see them in September. Look forward to.
I remember seeing this band in 1978 with my high school girlfriend at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. They were amazing. Memories that last lifetimes. God bless you L.S.R. Mike C.
My wife and I were at this show In NYC. Great seats in the second row of tables -center stage. The crowd was older (like us) but really got into it and the band rocked out. We have been lucky to see them 3-4 times (with Poco or Pure Prairie League) when they come through the New York/Jersey area.
I've loved Firefall ever since my mom would play her record on the stereo back when I was in preschool & Kindergarten! This song, "It doesn't matter" & "Just Remember I love you" have been favorites ever since!
One thing about Bartley....he has an unmistakeable style. He's not technically a shredder (thank God), but you always know it's Jock when you hear him.
I can still remember walking into the Music hall in Seattle 1979 to see them on stage playing this song, I was hooked right then. They opened for "Heart", great show.
I used to blast this LP on the parents Kenwood system with Bose 301s back in the day. Dad drinking beer in the kitchen and the smell of moms weed coming from the bedroom...
Wow, Alex, where did you get this fantastic video from? The guitar work is amazing as well as the harmony of the vocals. It's rare that a group can harmonize live as well as on the album. They pulled it off perfectly. Great musicians that are still great today. Thanks for the post, buddy. I enjoyed every second of it.
WOW!!! Great download of a great song by a great band. You're right. Not just a top 40 band. I doubt they were ever comfortable with that tag, but it paid the bills. Saw them live once, and damn did they bring down the house! One of those rare bands that recorded great music, but flat kicked ass live. Forbert, Frampton, and Poco were the same way. Thank you to all for keeping great music like this alive and relevant. If any of the band reads this, I'm a fan for life! Hope you're still groovin!

Jock told me a story back stage 15 years ago. The band was cutting this at Criteria in Miami And Howie the producer calls him in after punching in his first lead. Jock thought he could do It better. Howie insisted,Jock walks in And Eric Clapton(451 Ocean Blvd) says I think you got that one. Jock left the solo.Eric was Jock's Hero. Before the 1st album Jock would regularly burn down clubs in firefall- They were a hot band- not just Top 40- They played! Mark Andes,Michael Wooten, and Jock-GREAT!
@bobmon54 Rick Roberts is on facebook and on the mend - actually doing well since the first post. Alchoholism is a diseases and can be beaten- Ricks living proof!
