I'm happy for Scooby -- but does anyone really find this "inspiring"? This kind of thing is depressing. And people are free to spend their time and money as they please, but think of how many dogs were NOT saved because of all the time and energy spent on this one dog.

@jeffmaylor The rescue organization that helped Scooby Roo, Fuzzy Rescue, treated him just like any other rescue case. Just because he did not have front legs did not mean that any time or resources were taken away from other dogs that needed it. Fuzzy rescue believes that ALL dogs deserve a chance at life, even ones that were born with a deformity. The cost of saving this dog was not any more than the cost of saving any other dog.

Sweet dog. I adopted a cat who lost part of a leg to a racoon so he had to have it amputed. They may not have all 4 legs but they are just as lovable.

Great spirit in that dog! Makes me angry so many have been put to sleep because of amputated limbs. This dog has a great quality of life & is clearly enjoying it. Even dogs with carts can have a great life. Have a wonderful life Scooby Roo! Thanks to Alyssa Milano for buying the cart for him!

have you tried to train his to walk on his back legs like the famous dog Grace that does this and had appeared on Tv. He might do it, if encouraged enough... treats are sooo tempting, dogs will learn to fly for them.

This is such an inspiration. Scooby-Roo is resilient and foregiving. That's why I love dog. They are just so giving and foregiving. If we can all be more like them. Thanks for taking care of all these dogs. My dog is a rescue and he is my guardian angel instead.

Awesome krodgie-- thank you for the update. I donated and put the story up on my MJ blog when the story first came out, as well as an update showing the video here. I know many MJ fans from TMZ donated. We'll keep the story out!

Thanks for what you do. PS.. a suggestion, you should write Ellen DeGeneres and get Scooby-Roo on her show. She loves stories like this. Just a thought.

CaliMJFan - Fuzzy Rescue has been able to raise money for his first set of wheels and rehab. We are actively raising money for his future carts and therapy sessions. Originally heard about the story through TMZ connected with Michael Jackson's children trying to raise money for Roo's care.

Can you update us on how much has been raised so far? I'm sure you saw a huge increase in donations since that was released.
