Boris, I have a BIG question. After hearing you play this song I wanted to try it myself, so I went to the library and asked for the sheet. Everything went good so far, but the cello part (actually it's violin) in my copy is in c-minor, and starts with a "g" note. While you (and everyone else on Youtube) start the song with an "a". How is this possible? Do I have to transpose the score to play properly on cello?

who made your cello?

My cello is said to be an old Italian instrument, dated 1857, the maker is Alessandro Mantovani. At least this is written on the label inside the cello. The more imprortant thing is that a Bulgarian violin maker found it for me and did a great job repairing it! His name is Vlado Tilev.
