Corey has every right to file charges against that restaurant! It saddens me that anyone would be treated like that, even in the 21st century! I hope the manager was seriously reprimanded & fired! Corey should be duly compensated for what he has suffered through. Best of luck to you, Corey Nett.

Hey Corey, I sure hope that you won this case! Assholes like this should be takin' to court...and imo it shouldn't end there, they should be forced to sit at the same table with us and dine so that they will realise just how blessed they are to be abled-bodied! I too have CP and if something like this were to ever happen to me I'd tell him where to stick his lame-@ss resturant!

I have CP as well.. I have been discromintated agienst at a private club when some asshole sat me down in a chair and told me that I could not dance on the dance floor! I went into the bathoom and cried.. My band friends felt bad and were at a loss as to what to say or do... It sucks when you are treated like that...

I personally know Corey and I'd like to respond. The interview took place a MONTH after the incident at the restaurant. It wasn't his choice to be in the hospital then. Nor was it his choice on how the newsclip was edited. He's human and when in you're in pain, you cry. And damn anyone who thinks that the treatment of any person, differently-abled or not, should be any less or judged to be less of importance. You know why he is doing this, to make a damn point.

Well, OK, its not nice to him to be treated like this- but demanding money as "punative damages?" This "sue them all" culture is absurd.

If he really wanted to make a statment he should say any compensation won is being donated to a charity.

this is typical of japan. if you are a foreigner, disabled, etc, then you are sent to the back of the room or just plain refused entry.
