Well, in addition to the violins, you'd also have to fix the percussion clip and get it "sync'd" better to look like the high-hat was actually making the sharp noise.
No matter, still one of the best versions I've heard of AIrwolf Theme in a long time.
Oh I know its the real airwolf theme but thats not what the symphony is playing. The drummer doesnt match at all, and some of the instrumentals dont fit.
I do like how you slowed it down though, it looks like they really are playing it... I had to go over this many times to catch the few glitches.
The scor sounds different, almost like it is in a minor key I dont recall the original theam being in a minor key at all. BUt it adds a different spin to it though.
@rasmusa2821 the score is actualy normaly in a minor key but its thrown off by another key so it harmonizers a little more (kinda like a movie tune called surface of the sun)
@TheWraith Thats cool. But I wonder why they chose to add the second part to it. I almost faild to recognize the melody when I saw the video The melodic line seams to be very suddle in this version. But still it is pretty cool
@rasmusa2821 i slow'd down the music to match the pace of the orchestras hands, the video footage is from the dr who concert in cardif (the video is something i faked a while back) i wanted to do a whole video by the video wouldn't stay synched to the music after export
@truck501 its a doctor who concert for children on the BBC, i did the airwolf mixing my self lol, i did plan to do a whole concert style video but with my gfx card it was realy hard to time the clips to the music due to the gfx stuttering in the editor :'(
nar the scene from from 22 secs to 24 secs is way out to, finger speed on them violins :(
although that might fit the main rif speed if it kicked into the battle theme, hardest part with the timing is the camera pans & zooms, im back to having to work with uncompressed clips again now though, droppin 700mb avi's in & stuff is murder, need tp pal dv the bits i want then work with them, but thier massive, smooth more stable clips but drive cloggin : /
700mb is large? With the DV and HDV footage I work with, it uses 13gb/hour.. =) Thankfully the 1.5tb seagate drives are dirt cheap nowadays. I need to pick up a second one, I have 1gb free on this one currently. ;)
Have you ctrl-click-dragged the clips? You can stretch or shrink them to get them in sync that way pretty easily. Just make your cuts at the camera cuts, then shrink/grow them to match the time. That's how I did the rotors on my video Shadow of the Jackal. =)
its not that the 700mb is large (its that the 700mb is compressed) XviD :(
to use pal DV of it would be massive, wich at the moment i dont have the drive space to render 700mb into an uncompressed file, to wich working with the 700mb xvid means it stutters in vegas, so timming is a nightmare, as it stutters on my 64mb gfx lol
Well you shouldn't render uncompressed. ;) DV is 5x compression. Xvid is highly compressed, so the CPU works hard to decompress (not the video card)..
Less compression is easier to work with, as long as the drive can keep up. And that's not hard, as DV is about 3.2 megabytes/second. Drives from 5 or 6 years ago will do 30megs/sec+. Newer drives will do 80-100megs/sec. :)
most thought i picked it due to the wraith on stargate yet they seam confused ive been the wraith on gateworld site since years before the wraith or atlantis even came into stargate lol
Saw this clip a while back Wraith and was thoroughly impressed but didn't have time to leave feedback. Superb idea, and for something you say you just got bored with and knocked out (and two years ago at that), it's excellent. :)
T'was your & Tris Barratt's work that inspired ME, dude!
Airwolf vs Firefox is just sublime and I tell folks about it all the time. Total brilliance. I even mentioned it in passing to Airwolf's Editor, Leon Ortiz-Gil when Clark and I spent the day with him again last summer. :) I know talent when I see it and credit where it's due.
Tris is a genius, id so love to see a sequel LOL, his cav taking on a MKI Feista or something haha, someone shouts wires, and the co pilot says,, nar their just rubber strips that count the cars,
hes defo gotta do a sequel & and i gota sort my wireless so i can use a gfx card, were all slakkin latly : /
keep it up with the themes dude, i bet its good working a bit with jote, its cool when you can bounce ideas back to someone who gets it, and its rare it works that way
i'll have to finish this one day, would make for a great dvd with a stack of tracks
maybe i could kinda fake some screen on the wall (behind them) with airwolf footage playing to because im sure that dr who concert had a screen on the wall, just depends on the cameras view point i guess
That is clever. heh heh. One day, it might possible to simulate wind and string instruments. You could literally create your own orchestras on computer. ;)
probably could dude with something like "3ds max" and "poser" would take a long time though, realy long time, realy realy long.... lol, would probably look great though but makin a flute would be a killer on the pollys with all the moving detail, cant be worse lag than ofp though LOL
No, not animating instruments or players. LMAO. I just mean being able to drop notes into a program and selecting particular instruments to play them - multiple instruments for an orchestra.
my yamaha suports USB and can be used as an output device (rather than the sound card) for when im playing midi's with any media player :)
i made the ring tones with the yamaha & cakewalk, mark did'nt just play the airwolf themes live, he kinda mixed n matched probably moved notes on his apple mac software to
hee hee. PMSL. Yeah, I had a drumbox program for my commodore-64 in 1986 too. Spent hours on it, bopping away. And simulating guitars is nothing new. But if you want to re-create Beathoven's fifth on your computer, like a proper orchestra, you're gonna have a loooooonngggg wait. ;)
yip, it would take years, stuff has advanced a lot though with some of the synth chips avalible, a lot more people now go for the keyboard link as most sound cards still aint to great with midis :'(
yip so was i with the likes of cool edit pro lol, the newer composition software by the likes of yamaha's orchestra software walks all over the old stuff
i think with enough time and longer footage (i mean some clips are realy short, then when ye speed them up, their even shorter) but its possible, would be good with actual airwolf footage (but the clips are barely long enough) doing a fade in and out would be hard
but its defo food for thought :)
i wana do one to levis battle theme on cd2 but mark would get p***d at me, i got dudes on french horns to PMSL
plz, where can i get the full version?
