  • "Let's face it this is not the worst thing you've caught me doing." lol

It's also in Iron Man 2, he uses it to level out the machine so he can rediscover the element.

  • Uhmm.. what about when he literally hold it in his hands and the SHIELD guy's like 'you have any idea what that is?' and Tony uses it to level that thing he uses to create the new element he needs to power the thing that make his heart work? That was kinda evident.

  • i wonder about the other Marvel movie (Thor, hulk, Cap'n America and the other movies), do they have easter eggs in them as well?

  • Captain America died around 70 years ago. His Grandpa or went in search for Captain America after he froze in the end of the movie. Plenty of years later, they found Captain America's shield, and Tony Stark's grandpa/dad stored it somewhere. After Stark's death, Tony Stark found it, and I guess kept it.

They didn't find Captain America though, S.H.I.E.L.D did.

  • brilliant, reminds me of the scene in the phantom menace where indiana jones is in the audience watching the pod race and also et in the senate hall

  • in ironman 2 tony discovers a new mineral from that sheild

  • Wolverines claws are adimatiom and it much sronger than captain americas sheild

  • nosha47: "...Let's face it. This is not the worst thing you caught me posting."

    Me: "Are those...16 dislikes??"

    xD

  • i forget but was captain america's shield made out of adamantium?

  • @chucknorrisfearsno1 Vibranium or Proto-adamantium which is stronger than adamantium

  • @D2attemp lol ok cheers mate

  • @magicianmunar Okay your obviously slow because you cant spell you, yourself or use punctuation not only that but your response makes absolutely no sense. So I repeat, are you retarded?

  • FAKE!!!!!

  • @magicianmunar

    Are you retarded?

  • @narutonut48 u should ask that question to urself

  • Oh shit nice

  • I know there all from the same universe but...It was up to IronMan2 Where Captain America was Found then how does tony have his shield in part 1, if tony first encounters Nick Furry at the end of this movie and mentions that he isnt the only super hero...wouldnt tony already know that if he has Captain Americas shield?

  • Captain America's original uniform were created by Howard Stark. Capt. America got frozen until present day when the avengers found him and brought him back. Tony became good friends with Cap considering he was Howard's son and he did make Cap a more advanced and current shield appropriate for this time period. So yes it would make sense that he would have an unfinished Cap shield. Its probably the new one he's creating for him

  • yes, guys howard stark made the shield in the 40s but hasnt it occured to u guys that he left his shield behind in the crash. they r making him a new shield. its not that difficult to understand

  • It's not his shield it's the prototype, which he probably found in his dads stuff after he died

  • lol tht sheild comes in ironman 2

  • "Let's face it, this is not the worst you've caught me doing."

  • The real question here is wasn't cap.america's shield already made and finished by Howard Stark(Tony's dad) in 40s so how is it so that in this scene his shield is yet to be finished?

  • @jetandhitkiller25 that was the first protoype or it could be a coincidence...

  • Stark copying his fathers shield design >:O

  • HOW DID I NOT CATCH THIS????

  • @jsbsword actually theres an even more pronounced scene where hes creating his triangle core where u can see it in plain sight

  • so has the avengers already been assembled at this point?

  • why is captain america's shield with iron man?!???!?!

  • the shield does come out in part two

  • iron cap!

  • No, it's not a shield it's some clock or something.. but definitely not the shield.

  • tony's dad howard stark worked with Captain America. Howard created Captains shield and his suit.

  • @YASYOD1 is that true? :o

  • @Jackym266 it's true. if you want to know for sure, see the movie

  • @Jackym266 yep all the movies are linked some how or another

  • @YASYOD1 you got that wrong. he made improvements on it

  • @YASYOD1 Yeah, Howard was in the Captain America movie, the Marvel most have done a big job to make this all together with Iron Man 2, Hulk, Captain America and Thor :P

  • @YASYOD1 its an Easter egg in the movie and nobody notices it until now lol

  • After watching Captain America it kinda makes sense now because of Tony's connection to the captain through his father, Howard.

  • @zakkwylde89 and who was howard again in captain america ?... i dont remember.

  • @gabriell426 Iron man's (a.k.a) Tony Stark's father.

  • Obviously that's not the actual shield since it was frozen with Captain America for 68 years, so what is it? Did Howard Stark make a duplicate (not vibranium) in Captain America's honor or something? If no one knows the answer I'll just go with that.

  • well i just saw captian america, im yet to see thor, waiting for dvd release here in uk, and if i remember in iron man 2, didnt someone pick up his shield from under a shelf? also i was amazed how tony starks father was one of the main characters of captian america. its so interesting how these movies are colliding

  • Back when Iron Man 1 and 2 were first out, I always felt that the scenes of The Shield were a neat little fun tribute to the character, but having just watched the actual Captain America movie, they have a lot more significance now.

  • it looks more like the disc thing he used in Iron Man 2 to keep that big ring in place

  • @ownage22guy22 the thing is the movie got it wrong caps shield was made out of adamantium the same thing that was infused onto every bone in wolverine's body

  • I really can't wait this month capt america movie..

  • Be sure ya'll stay for the the hidden scene after the credits of Captain America :D (Not a joke dead serious)

  • its like call of duty zombies with the damn easter eggs

  • why would it be sheild there

  • WOO AVENGERS MAY 2012 THE TRAILERS AT THE END OF THE CREDITS IN CAP'S NEW MOVIE!

  • U also see the shield in Iron Man 2...

  • omg this all makes sense now. At the end of Captin America he wakes up in our present time and Iron Man has always been in our present time witch means S.I.E.L.D ask Tony to make Caps. Shield even better. So the ending of Captain America kinda ties in with part of the Iron Man movie. :D

  • @kennethknuckles go back to watch captain america and wait till endo of the credits

  • @Reconseal4050 yea but they say it was just vibranium

  • I think the shield was a mixture of both vibranium and adamantium.

  • Comment removed

  • tony stark's dad (howard stark) is the one that built the shield for captain america, which is the same metal used in wolverine's metalic skeliton

  • @BrutalTruthGuy Captain America's shield is made of Verbantium while Wolverine is Adamantium. (not sure if spelling is correct, but its different metals)

  • @MrOffroad89 oh right, my bad howard stark made the original shield while tony made the second one (after cpt. america is thawed) and that one was made of adamantium. thanks for correcting lol

  • @BrutalTruthGuy

Actually the shield that Howard Stark for Captain America was made from vibranium not adamantium.

  • Tony starks dad was in the movie captain america

  • not only tony's dad designed captain america's shield. His nuclear reactor was used by sebastian shaw in Xmen first class.

  • captain america is the best

  • This is awesome! but I have to say I prefer the cameo in Thor of Iron man :P

  • THE Captain America Post Credit Scene/ The Avengers (2012) Trailer IS ON Low60000's channel!!!!!!

  • ok so tony starks dad created the original costume and shield for cap way back and now tony found it in his house its also in the second one

  • Doesn't Captain America get frozen or something to get to the future?

  • @DaFLUFFYKilla Cap gets frozen in the Arctic (sp) for many years until he's discovered by the Fantastic Four (I may be wrong, but it was a team). Everyone thought he was dead, but he was just frozen. The comics explain the story. Just look it up on Wikipedia.

  • @DaFLUFFYKilla yeah, but i dont get it, cap isnt awoken yet

  • @DaFLUFFYKilla When Captain America finally receives his shield Howard Stark (Tony Stark's father) gives him the choice of many prototypes. In Iron Man 2 Tony Stark is seen in possession of what appears to be Captain America's shield. However the shield in Iron Man 2 is incomplete and does not look the same as the one in Captain America: The First Avenger. Therefore the shield in Iron Man 2 may have been one of the many prototypes.

  • @DaFLUFFYKilla Yes mate

  • Tony's dad designed the captain america suit/look

  • i dont understand the Captain American Shield????

its also on the 2nd one and isnt captain american older than Tony Starks??

  • All the marvel super hero's in Avengers there will be most credits same as Iron man had Thor hammer the hulk had stark an iron man has capn amarica ect

  • incorrect tony's father henry started the future soldior program that was used in captain america, if you listen to the trailor you even hear the name stark, the director of iron man said that it was placed to tony through means of his father, tony at this time is the only person besides SHEILD that knows the true identity of Captain America before his death

  • That shield was also in iron man 2 when he shoved it under a mental pipe to level it out

  • @MADmudkip209 i saw that too

  • SO MANY REFERANCES IN SO MANY MARVEL MOVIES!

  • actualy it was from iron man 2,it was when he was working on the giant tubes.srry to ruin the fun!!!!!

  • omg..i've seen this movie so often but never recognized this. i think i'm getting old^^

  • ".....lets face it, this is not the worst thing you have ever caught me doing...."

  • In Captain America's movie,Tony stark's dad is one of the scientists

  • I discovered this like, the first time I saw the movie. Not that hard to miss actually.

  • one of the coolest movie cameos . Iron man's father was also working with the super soldier program when he was at tony's age and he helped Captain America to make the iconic shield we know today so that shield we see here is an unfinished prototype of cap's shield that Tony stark / iron man found in his father's items .

CAPTAIN AMERICA In theaters July 22 2011 .

  • THis sheild is a prototype his father made

  • URGH. DANG I NEVER SEE THAT..

  • WHATS WITH THIS TERRIBLE QUALITY MAN!!!! DID YOU RECORD THIS WITH A SPOON???

  • His father Howard Stark helped with the super solder experiment

  • if captain america was around the world war 2 why is tony stark having it?

  • @allmyfriendsvideo rebuilding it

  • @allmyfriendsvideo probably its an antic or something, or perhaps hes improving on the shield, working with captain america at the time

  • @allmyfriendsvideo Because when tony's father was at tony's age he was helping captain America with costume and his shield . so the shield we see in iron man is an unfinished prototype of the shield that tony found in his father's stuff . we will see all that in the Captain America Movie in cinemas july 22 2011 .

  • Its in the second one too

  • TONYS DAD WAS ONE OF THE SCIENTISTS THAT MADE CAPTIN AMERICA CAPTIN AMERICA THEY SAY HIS NAME IN THE TRAILER

  • oh shit!!i soo didnt see that, wow thats like amazing to see that stark actually invented the shield, but if so, then how did that one guy with the eye patch obtain it,did he just take it from him?i guess so becuz stark before he made the iron man suit was already part of s.h.i.e.l.d right?

  • @17Taiga71 No no !! Tony stark did not invent the shield ! it was his father Howard stark who helped captain America with the super soldier program in ww2 so that shield we see here is what tony found in his father's personal stuff .

  • i thought steve rogers created his own shield

  • @TheBobbleheadboys No ! OK here's why we see the shield in iron man . because iron man's father Howard stark when he was young at tony's age he helped captain America get stronger and get his shield and all that so the shield we see here is what tony found in his father's personal stuff and tony found it . This shield here was also not the finished version of captain Americas shield and it got denied so tony's dad kept it and tony found it .

  • @michaelforthriller Relax, you said it four times. We get it!

  • I only noticed the shield in Iron Man 2! lol!

  • cool lol never noticed that haha

  • Actually, It could have been from the Iron Patrion (Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin new form!!)!!! I hope they have that in the Avengers! If they mess that movie up! Only the Dark Avengers could save marvel!!

  • in the comics what year did the avengers take place? and i never saw that before!!! sneaky sneaky!!

  • that is captain americas shield that shield was given to iron man by a member of the avengers (samuel jackson) so he can build his suit like captain americas shield , something that is very powerful and bullets are useless to it .

now marvel movies has connected iron man to hulk and iron man to thor and i'm pretty sure they are gonna connect captain america to them too.

we can find out the true connection between all these superheroes in THE AVENGERS (2012)

  • @ownage22guy22 they already did.. captain america is tony starks dad

  • @MrRedSource

no!captain amrica is steve rogers, iron mans dad is howard stark,he died many years ago but captain america is still alive .

  • @ownage22guy22 But in Iron Man we see Samuel Jackson at the end and Tony doesn't know him so how the shield ended up there?

  • @kohoko the shield is probably a prototype from tony's dad who will be in the capt america movie..

  • @ownage22guy22 I has the cartoon of that movie :D

  • @ownage22guy22 yes... Captain America will be connected to Iron Man... cause you gonna see Stark in the movie... Stark will be the one to create the first Super Soilder = Captain America...

  • @ownage22guy22 I can understand that if it was Iron man 2, but Tony doesnt meet Samuel's character till the movie is over. The sheild is also in Iron Man 2

  • @ownage22guy22 ohhkays, another reason for me to wish that 2012 wont happen o:

  • @ownage22guy22 OH MY LORD!! SAMUEL L. JACKSON IS A MEMBER OF THE AVENGERS?? I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST AN ACTOR!!

  • @ownage22guy22 or maybe sence his father did helped in the super solider program it was a gift from the original captain america before he disapere

  • @TheGhostBlackops

watch the movie firstmate, you'll understand it all...

  • @ownage22guy22 im pretty sure that caps shield was made out of vibranium and iron mans suit is not

  • @ownage22guy22 yeah i watched it, tony stark's father is in the film working on the super-soldier project and samuel jackson is in it who shows up at the end :) oh yeah nearly forgot to say.... SPOILER!

  • @ownage22guy22 What are you? an advertizement?

  • @ownage22guy22 they already did

  • @ashugtiwari

i wrote that 2 months ago mate

  • @ownage22guy22 Oh yeah, right, sorry

  • @ownage22guy22 the bad thing is: no edward norton as hulk =(

  • @george2p \the bad thing was when they changed hulk at the first place ,erik bana was the best choise for hulk ,now they changed it again to mark ruffalo .

  • @ownage22guy22 the first hulk movie sucked and hard, maybe erick was good but the movie was incredibly bad

  • @ownage22guy22 If you see the Captain America movie, you can see that Howard stark, iron man's father made the shield

  • @ownage22guy22 As said in the move, Captain Americas shield is made of a wery rare metal, so rare that all of it that exists, was used to make the shield.. So everything you just said is bullshit.. They just put that there to remaind people of the Captain America movie was in the makes back then. It does not have an actuall purpos.. ;)

  • @ownage22guy22 The movies didn't connect them, the comics did. The Avengers was an actual comic series with almost every superhero Marvel every produced came in contact with them. S.H.I.E.L.D. actually made Blade (the half vampire hunter) his sword. Even Spiderman.

  • @ownage22guy22 actually Nick Fury is member of S.H.I.E.L.D. not the Avengers, his goal is to gather a team of superheros (the avengers) Iron Man takes place after they discovered Captain America frozen, nick fury gave stark Captains' shield. "marvel movies" has nothin to do with this, its all going according to the comics. Thors' brother Loki returns and plans to enslave the human race, and thats where the Avengers come in.

  • @kittan800 40s, WWII to be specific, then he's frozen, then comes back in modern times as an avenger

  • @kittan800 yeah but he gets frozen in ice and he survives some how.

  • All these cameos... Those sneaky bastards.

  • @Fuby803 well in the marvel universe, where these movies take place captain america is a human turned superhero and tony stark is the best weapons engineer/creator in that world so most likely the scientists who worked on captain america or something like that asked him to build it...it will probably be explained in captain america

  • @ree9munity thats wrong, he didnt kno cap and his father made the shield but he's dead

  • Watch iron man 2 agent caulson hands it to him

  • wow, how do you even notice that?

  • everyone who thinks that it has ANY relevence to captain america isn´t that bright, or just hasn´t seen the trailer of captain america. Look at the guns, they´re 2nd world war guns from england or germany or whatever.... while iron man takes place in the present or ... let´s say future cuz look at that badass suit.

  • @kittan800 if its in the 50s it would still be around in the future plus ww2 took place in the 40s

  • @kittan800 he has many armor types

  • it wasnt unfinished it was taken apart

  • @kittan800 thank you

  • Just Imagine Ironman has Thor's hammer plus captain america's shield, hell yeah, I bet no one's gonna watch it anymore, haha

  • He used the science behind the shield to make it similar to his armor

  • where did stark get adamantiom from

  • Well I Think He Has The Cap Shield From His Dad Like A Hand Me Down From When His Dad Probably Helped Created Cap America. But Tony Could Enhance The Shield Becaause The Cap Is Frozen In Ice Remeber.

  • I think Tony Starks dad was involved in the captain america project back in the 50's, hence why Tony has the shield. He was probably enhancing the shield for Cap

  • leave tony alone ! he aint done anything to you !

  • no no no its not a shield its a logo

try to watch Iron Man 2 when he's making the new ark reactor

you can see it when the gourd pick it up

  • @xionxi9 its not a shield logo, actually its in box when tony's ass packed all of his dad's shit up and put it in the floor of his house or somethin. the gaurd picks it up and askes "what's this doing here" and "do you know what this is", he knows what it and it's not a shield logo. Its capt's famous Shield made by howard stark. i just got one question what the hell is doin sittin on the table in iron man one

  • to clear this whole argumentive structure below. tony stark wasnt made aware of shield till the end credits of this film. nor steve rogers (atleast hollywood didnt make us aware of any relation) therefore this little shield cameo is bogus and is here simply to make us marvel geeks jizz our pants.

  • dude theres a chapter where the the cap looses his shield in some ocean and stark gives him a new one...

also later in the series the cap looses his super human powers and stark gives him an armour ...

dude i really like how marvel mix all the things and make an ultimate storyline ... !

  • Howard Stark made America's shield, that is just a prototype.

  • If you follow the series correctly, Tony's father did work under Captain America under WW2. I guess in the soon feature, we'll see Captain America 2. were Wolverine wakes him up. Seeing as Captain America 1 is a pre-sequel under WW2.

  • Maybe Stark's lab is a Superhero weapons manufacturer now. He makes weapons and gadgets for clients such as Batman, The X-men, He may have even developed Wonder Woman's invisible jet.

  • @JRock005

It was hinted in one of the old comics that he developed Wonder Madame's super girdle

  • @JRock005 yeah, totally.. he even worked on Spiderman's Goblin flying machines and bombs and such. totally..

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    as if..

but would be awesome if put together in movie aside

  • @JRock005 batman manufactures his own weapons wayne industry doesnt develope weapons and i believe wonderwomans invisble plane came from batman

  • @JRock005 batmans is not a marvel character so he will never in his life meet him

  • dude that is not the captain america shield!

it´s the shield of the expo 1974 wich you will see in the next movie iron man 2

    get your facts right

    BTW

    i am from holland

    peace

  • i hear that after they make captain americen movie thay make a movie about captain, iron man, hulk

  • funny first time I heard about this I didn't believed neither this or the incredible hulk one, but it ended up being true, lesson learned

  • what was he using the shield for exactly? so random.

  • @hennaluv when he was trying to make the triangle shaped thing to put on his chest, he needed a laser to power it up. so to line it up with the laser, he used to shield to line it up

  • @DaSora2 haha, no i know. in the second movie, it was obvious since it was part of the model his father left behind.

i was referring to the first movie. it's just in the background. :S

  • Until Rogers gets here, all it's good for is propping up his machines.

  • what i dont get is why he even has it.

  • @Yiyas exactly. me either! lol. i know in the marvel world, both captain america and iron man have a bit of a bromance going on...but then even that turns sour at points i think.

whats confusing is the timeline for me. captain america was set during ww2. i believe the movie with chris evans is also set during that time period... :S:S:S! so...

i dont get why the 'incomplete' shield was inside/part of his dad's 'model of the future'...

  • Its in iron man Two.. He uses it to balance the coil at 1:25:19

  • how did u even notice that tiny thing in back of him -_-

  • LAWL HE SO USES THAT SHIELD IN IRON MAN 2 AS A PROP UP XD

  • Isn't already obvious

  • you know at the end of iron man you see thor,s hammer:D

    i guess wats next xD

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • i kno rite in iron man 2 the agent takes the shield out of the box and tony uses the shield to balance the foil when he is creating a new element

  • @chad4030 I remember that! I thought he was going to reveal an important plot element for the upcoming 2012 Avengers movie but instead he used the shield to balance his ginormous fusion pipes to make a better heart. xD I should've seen it coming, after all it's Iron Man.
