@krazyneggah keith came to novi, mi to record this at tvt studios on eshams boards dats and equipment - not really sure if you can say esham didn't produce this album
gah, somebody stole this C.D. from me when I left in in a friends disc changer. I'm sure it blew the minds of the whatever hippies stole it though lol.
You should probably start with early solo Keith shit. Like 1995-2000. He kinda goes wild after that.
As far as full albums go, I'd recommend The first Octagon album, both Dr. Dooom albums, Spankmaster, Sex Style, Ultra, Project Polaroid, Diesel Truckers, Black Elvis and the Cenobites E.P.
Just keep in mind that Keith is WAY more experimental than most other rappers. He could give a shit about radio hits. He's just looking to make some money and entertain himself.
forsho, yeah i like this type o shit, thas wussup tho fuck radio, i found out about him cus of mf doom, that 1 song they did together doper skiller, the doc is sick as fuck,i get it, but yeah thanks for the recomendations itll help alot,u listen to doom ud like him 2
shiiiit, you got A LOT to choose from, he goes back to the 80's, and all his tracks are pretty damn good. If you want the short cut route, i'd say start with Dr. Octogon album and work your way up, then you'll understand his latter years from lp to lp.
On second thought; go all the way back, cause you'd be missing out!!!! he's had a crazy life so far from what I've understood and experienced
Yeah, I myself was a little offput by the different take on this album, and how he was sort of shifting out of his whole horror/scifi thing. I eventually realized (when I actually listened to the whole CD instead of skimming) that this album is fucking funktastic. This song especially had me quite captured, I love the flow of it.
No problem. Send me a message and I'll hit you up with a list of a ton of free links with Spankmaster on it. I send them to my subscribers each week. I'm up to about 50 or so and counting.

I swear some of these songs on this album seem as if keith was trying to spoof the funk/80s jerri curl wearing era. its hilarious.

The production was way different than other Keith albums and it suited him PERFECTLY. He needs to try making another record with Esham.

Agreed and agreed.
It took a long time for me to get into Spankmaster. It threw me off at first, but that album really grows.
Esham and Keith's style fit perfectly together.
