This is way bettter that The American. I wasted an hour and a half of my life and I want that time back. I also want the £10 I have paid for the movie ticket.
OMG that was hilarious, though I can't say us Torontonians sound like that...I think that's an east coast accent if I'm not mistaken. Either way it was mint. And I definitely travel with a Canadian flag on my gear so I don't get the "American treatment" when abroad. Anyway, LULZ!
Haha full of stereotypes but it was funny, and I'm canadian. And it's true that most Canadians travel with the canadian flag on their backpack so nobody thinks their americans. I personally never did the same on mine cuz i dont give a fuck if people think im American, Canadian or French.
But I really wonder in wich part of Canada people speak like the guy in the video 0_O
I once made the mistake of asking a rural Ontarian if he was from the East Coast. You won't find that accent in the cities, but boy-o it's in the towns. If you really want to hear it, take a taxi in Halifax.
I never understand why people assume Canadians have this accent. You might hear it on the east coast a little bit, but other than that, Canadians don't have an accent. It's kind of like assuming every Japanese person says "san" after every name. It's pretty ignorant. I usually don't mind these Canadian stereotypes, but the accent is so overdone and doesn't even make sense, since no one sounds like that.
I am so bored of the stereotyped accent deal for us, because I don't sound a thing like it. I have been told by dozens of American friends that the only giveaways for me being Canadian are saying eh now and again, and a firm T on out - "ow-Tuh". I didn't even laugh once. South Park is more fun about it.
Look as a Canadian, i loved it! I thought it was hilarious... lighten up people! Everyone stretches the stereotypes, whether its American, Canadian, Irish, French, Italian, German, etc,.... that's what makes it so funny.
@ShaaneSC Personally I go to Play it Again. Outside of the city most people go to CT for sharpening, what I was getting at is every butthole town in Canada has a CT close by. Not so much for Source for Sports or Play it Again, etc...
Good parody...

the only place you can find that accent is in the Maritimes. It's everywhere over there.
The Canadian interior's got its own thing going.

Hahaha the best is The Hip at Massey Hall and Timmy's. Those are the kind of stereotypes that are so accurate they can't possibly be disagreed with.

Although with an accent like that he might not be wearing a Leafs jersey.

What a horrible accent. It doesn't matter what part of Canada they are going for, they missed by a long shot.

Are there any Canadians in the world with this accent? I've never heard it in 28 years of living in Ontario.

I lol'd so hard when he showed the mugger his Canadian flag
danooii 1 year ago 3
Good spoof. I'm Canadian and that accent is pretty much spot on. People from the East Coast, such as Newfoundland and Nova Scotia sound like that.
Lafffatyou 1 year ago
@Lafffatyou That's three provinces. That's not a "spot on" accent for Torontonians at all.
turnoffthetv 1 year ago
@turnoffthetv
What does that have to do with me? I never mentioned anything about the amount of provinces or what Torontonians sound like.
