I do think SJSU still has a chance for a bowl bid but for that to happen they must find a RB who can run north-south as well as east-west.

Wow, San Jose State has 30 more scholarships, almost 3 times the football budget, far less stringent academic requirements, you win on just about the last play of the game and you're celebrating like you just won the WAC championship. I think I know a lot more about the students at SJSU now and their knowledge of the situation on the field. A shameful showing by the Spartans at home...good luck at Nebraska!!! Hope you can compete!

I know, seriously... who cares about the football budget. Recruiting at SJSU isn't anything to talk about, this isn't USC CaliBeamn. Plus Davis lost to a QB (Kyle Reed) who never played yet. Game was pretty evenly matched to me (even got the zebras on your side).

Not to mention our QB is a civil engineering major, not the incredibly difficult sociology such as your Cal reject Reed. I'm not trying to hate or be arrogant, I'm simply observing and commenting...SJSU student fans were clueless about how terrible this game was for SJSU football. TERRIBLE!

yo cali. the day u go to a football game and enjoy the outcome no matter if its a weak team or not.. you will HAVE to respect the team you go for.. i played football and guess what we were underdogs every year and guess what.. we are now being recognized. im just simply commenting on ur reply. its 11 players on the field, they work 3 a days all summer just like any other team. quit hating and enjoy the victory. if not then stop lookin up videos of sjsu. simple and easy

You're right...I'm a diehard SJSU fan and even I know SJSU got lucky in the last few seconds of the game. Think about it, Joe Trombetta outgained the entire SJSU rushing offense. I do think SJSU still has a chance for a bowl bid but for that to happen they must find a RB who can run north-south as well as east-west.

Dude I know! I was confused as well. I think Davis deferred it, so SJSU would go in the same direction. I think it worked with us missing 2 field goals and an extra point. Thats my best guess
