  • whats the deifnition of impairing brain development in teens? are we talking like 12-14, or 17-19, i ask coz im 19 in a couple weeks.

  • lmao @ 1:03 that guy in bed is like " fuck! I cant sleep, better take it to the head this time"

  • See. That's IT! It isn't that bad.

  • Marijuana and driving? Bad? I am a paramedic. I have seen over 100 dead bodies in 5 years on the street. Women, men, and children. Young and old. Out of all of those accidents involving an impairing substance, take a guess what that substance was! ALCOHOL. Alcohol is the most dangerous drug out there. Very addictive, and very impairing. It is not good for your body at all. Yet it is LEGAL.. WTF?!?! This country has so many problems. Get the idiots out of the govt! RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • The cgi guy at the beginning isn't doing it right

  • here in fuckin norway 14 of 15 have smoked weed, the remaining 1 is faggots so

  • Wrong, In washington DC it is medically legal, however no zoning laws have been set in place or doctors been viable to move into DC with valid licences to prescribe

  • alc is worse then marijuana if your drunk and your driving smack your instantly dead or if your walking at a city and walking on the street and stagger a car can hit you

  • Ron Paul for weed

  • weed doesnot cause any of the problems they listed at the end.

  • Marijuana harms but it's never killed anyone lol

  • All these studies are done with joint smokers? What about us bong tokers! Has there even been a study of the effects of using water diffusion, and carbon filtres? These are questions that should be answered!! For all we know if people started smoking their tobacco through bongs more often they might avoid cancer, and black lungs. Forget that though lets just do the same tests over and over again to find out the same thing we already knew, that marijuana isn't as damaging as tobacco.

  • slows brain development - bullshit

    impairs driving - bullshit

  • @wakjob94 of course it impairs driving how can you say it doesnt? dont get me wrong i smoke weed all the time but you cant say it doesnt impair your ability to drive of course it does.

  • I DRIVE BEST WHEN IM HIGH WTF MATE ???

  • oh boy i would have loved to be a subject in that study

  • so there are so advantages of smoking joint.. right?

  • If you don't try weed you are nothing indeed ;)

  • bullshit

  • @Kick2theFlip Look up the laws for your state if you want evidence.. I just wanted to give you advice, not give you a doctors consultation with all the details. I live in Missouri, our laws are probably worse then your's. And I'm not just some dumbass stoner I have a 3.4 GPA at my university. And when your looking at the maximum sentence, don't forget... it's the MAXIMUM sentence. Meaning unless you murdered someone too your never going to get the max. no where close.

  • I wish I didn't kill brain cells.

  • 1/15 kids admit to trying weed****

  • @SuperGunnGunn Nope you're wrong! Marijuana has "resin" NOT "tar". Resin is much like tar but resin can be broken down and ridded of your lungs their the natural proteins. Tar on the other hand is there to stay. So if you smoke marijuana every day but not to heavily you will give your lungs time to dispose of the resin and you will be fine.

  • Okay... so it doesn't danger the lungs to smoke weed. 0:23 "Where as, smoking tobacco harms lung function in a MUCH SHORTER PERIOD." :P

The fact that you inhale anything BESIDES oxygen is bad for the lungs. And what do you think makes weed sticky? Weed has more tar than tobacco.

  • @SuperGunnGunn Its called THC not 'that sticky stuff....duuuuuhhh'. its been well researched to have anti cancerous effects on the body and the body amazingly has a system called endocannabinoid system which responds uniquely to thc. its as if we were meant to use Marijuana. listen to MUFF1NS0.

  • @jemapellebeny Which is tar. And I'd rather not take advice from a person who goes by MUFF1NS0

  • @SuperGunnGunn You shouldn't talk about things you know nothing about. Carbon monoxide is in all smoke which is bad, yes. But to say weed has more tar than tobacco is moronic. And there is a HUGE difference between lung damage from 2 months of cigarettes and 7+ years of smoking weed! Either way, with weed, you can just make some brownies and bypass all negative effects.

  • @Kick2theFlip You had no evidence behind that. Obviously, I'm not going to take advice from a pothead.

  • @SuperGunnGunn lol it was awesome reading your comment while baked, thanks for the laugh.

  • @samurai388 No problem! I just like trolling.

  • @SuperGunnGunn better yet ask your lawyer!! He'll tell you the exact same thing as me.

  • @SuperGunnGunn thc makes weed sticky thc is a natural substancce found in your brain as well as everyone else even if you dont smoke weed. your brain produces its own thc but heres where you can kinda grow dependant on it. your brain will stop producing its own thc if you smoke too often which is why alot of people feel irritable when they havent smoked for awhile but the brain quicky starts again in afew weeks time basically meaning theres no such thing as addiction to weed you can stop wenever

  • yea it impairs their ability to drive but most smokers I've driven with including myself driving drive more cautiously while high compared to sober

  • @Gmblr117 when im baked i actually obey the speed limit lol

  • which one is better to health weather spliff or pure joint?

  • @sdsagidon obviously pure joint. Spliffs are mixed with tobacco which is terrible for you..

  • I read an article somewhere online very recently about smoking weed and driving. The results were that driving when stoned increases your risks by 2x. Hahahaha, 2x is an incredibly small increase in comparison to the risks when driving whilst drinking or even TEXTING. The government needs to get their priorities straight!

  • i can drive perfectly while im high

  • @AcCoRdHaTEr352 FOR REALLL...I DO AS WELL AND I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WHO HAD BEEN DRIVING WHILE THEIR HIGH.WHEN YOUR DRUNK..ITS A DIFFERENT STORY

  • @AcCoRdHaTEr352 yeah man i can too, but there are some a-hole virgin smokers to get to high and do it so i can kind of agree

  • @AcCoRdHaTEr352 kind of. haha

  • Any smoke matter will hurt your lungs eventually but to all these anti weed people, the shit you breathe when walking around a city is far worse. Not to mention that you probably all smokers because you in hail peoples cigarettes when walking past.

  • I live n washington they did not legalize weed

  • @FluffyProdigy Actually yes they did pass the bill in DC. There has been a hold up though in getting the bill put into action. Such as getting things set up on how they will be regulating the sales, distribution of prescriptions, etc. They are in hopes of getting everything ironed out within the next couple of years from what I last heard.

  • Nice. Good thing. I blaze medical marijuana in my bong all day every day! Check out my vids!

  • dude im fucking better at driving when im high what the fuck you on nigga

  • Wtf? I drive when I'm high and nothing happens

  • Smoking one joint per day for 7 years does not significantly impair lung function within a 20 year period. That's what this study says, not "smoking marijuana does not harm lungs".

Learn how to reach scientific papers... jeez.

  • @holyhell5050 *read

  • @rine3405 I know I would love to test free weed for a year

  • it does... any smoke is bad for your lungs, but who give a shit, its worth it anyway

and were all gonna die anyway

  • medical marijuana is legal in arizona! HOLYPOOPDOUCHETURTLEAPPLEPIENICKDIAZWONTHATFIGHTCRAPMONKEY

  • if this shit is already legalized are we allowed to open weed shops

    like an Arabian hookah cafe

  • How can I become part of that study and why wasn't I notified that they were looking for participants...

  • 1 in 15 Yeah right more like 12 in 15 lol

  • So, is it legal yet? (obviously safer than alcohol and cigarettes)

(plus, consuming resinous cannabis flower oil, instead of smoking resinous cannabis flowers, would dramatically alter the potential of medical uses. Instead of simply treating chronic pain, it could treat chronic disease)

  • @TheBucketListBoyz 1 in 15 have been caught smokin

  • @SuperJusticesmith What you say is incorrect. It is based on polls. Anonymous polls taken at schools mostly. Not teens who have been caught/charged with marijuana related charges.

  • @TheBucketListBoyz That's what they think :)

  • "Monopolizing weed is virtually impossible, so it won't be legalized and that's another obstacle" - Immortal Technique

  • Bull shit !!!! I can drive perfectly when I'm high I fuckin light up while driving hahaha forealz it's actually easier cuz I'm all paranoid lol jk but I seriously do drive high a lot it's fun haha

  • People who f*ck everything up are the people who can't handle there high

  • @swordstool

    .... dude ur an idiot

  • Yea 1/15?? Thats unrealistic. More like 5/15. 1/3.

  • Id rather not take the risk. What IF it does hurt you. I Couldnt be the athlete i am now. Besides, sadly the teens who try pot usually end up in a negative environment. Ive talked to many high school seniors who cant graduate because it all started with marijuana at 14 and went to juvy, couldnt get enough high school credits. Sad

  • But if there was something wrong with u and u need medication weed would be the best different strains to make u feel better like saltivas

  • i drive just fine on that stuff. Cops can tell but cant prove it.

  • I smoke both Cigarettes and the sticky icky, and when i smoke pot it helps me cough up the tar from the cigs. I can breath better afterwards and i feel good cus im nice and toasty. Nothing scientific just my self-analysis.

  • @Trolling4RonPaul2012 your stupid as fuk bra you cant cough up the tar

  • But it doesn't effect everyone the same. It could completely ease one persons anxiety and worsen another's. Also different strains will effect you differently, but most strains do the same thing.

  • It does not impare peoples abilitie to drive my dad has been ssmoking weed for years and drives fine when he is high

  • Never tried it.

  • haha that guy was cheiffin in that joint lol

  • what a weird little voice

  • And please vote Ron Paul 2012. Please.

  • More like 10/15 teens. If not more.

  • great...now i want a joint...

  • bullshit

  • 1 in 15? yea right

  • Isn't it weird how we can be so functional on weed? Everything about it makes you feel like you are in your own world.

  • The title of this video is completely and utterly inaccurate! At 20 seconds it says that the study shows "smoking pot for 7 years doesn't hurt lung function", then at 20 seconds it says the study shows "smoking pot for 10 years does hurt lung function". That' s only 3 more years! That's like a day LOL! This video most definitely highlights the misrepresentation of science by the public. And anyone who uses this video to say that pot does not harm lungs is a straight-up idiot!

  • @swordstool actually the definition is joint years. 7 joint years is the equivalent of smoking one joint every day for 7 years. buts its also the same as smoking one joint every third day for 21 years. or for that matter smoking 2 joints per day for 3.5 years. but yes, the title is very misleading, or maybe the poster just does'nt understand the medical data at all:P

  • @codexdelux believe me, the majority of smokers (even if that's only 51%) smoke close to everyday, if not multiple times a day, so 7 years is okay for them, but 10 is not LOL! Idiots!

  • @swordstool you really did'nt understand what i said did you? the definition "7 joint years" that they use in the research is the same amount of joints as smoking 1 joint every day for 7 years. If you smoke it it 3,5 years by smoking 2 each day its still "7 joint-years". if you smoke 7 joints per day for 1 year that is also "7 joint-years".

How can you call people idiots when you dont even understand tha basic definitions?

are you really so thick that you dont understand this definition?

  • @codexdelux LOL! If you smoke 1 joints worth of marijuana a day for a year (as the majority do), then 7 joint years is approx. equal to 7 real years. If you smoke 2 joints worth of pot a day, then 7 joint years equals 3.5 real years. If you smoke 1/2 joints worth of pot every day then 7 joint years equals 14 real years. Thus, for the majority of smokers, joint years are approximately equal to real years since they smoke approx. 1 joints worth per day. Who doesn't understand the definition? HA!

  • @swordstool "if not multiple times a day" you seemingly didn't. What the study suggests is that smoking one joint aday will after 7 years have little or no effect on your lung capasity. after 3 more years however, most people will experience loss of lung capacity. this is what is called a "tipping point". kinda like when a ballong holds 7 liters of air but bursts at 8, or your immune system can fight of (arbitrary number for the sake of argument) 12million germs, but you get sick with 15mill.

  • @codexdelux that's exactly what I originally said LOL! Thanks for confirming I was correct! This video is being presented as evidence for pot NOT harming lung capacity, but it clearly states there is decreased capacity after 10 yrs versus 7. 3 yrs is a very short interval! Most people who smoke daily for 7 yrs straight are very likely to continue for another 3. As you get older you will learn that time is perceived to pass faster by humans as they age, and, as I said, 3 years is not long at all!

  • @swordstool ay man the majority of smokers smoke way more than joint a day trust me thats a warm up that doesnt even get some people high

  • @channelsurferable Exactly! This video actually presents evidence AGAINST itself HA!

  • @channelsurferable u got that bro i wasnt tryin to argue i was just sayin take it or leave it

  • @swordstool ur fuking stupid

  • @TheTGFL LOL!

  • @swordstool seriously? Show me the evidence. Ever seen a lung cancer patient who smokes only marijuana? NO. show me. Marijuana has many anti cancer effects and anti inflammatory effects so any damage done would be negated. do some real research before you spout your conformist bullshit

  • @cheeseburgerbob222 Yes. I have. I work in cancer research. And, for instance, male cannabis smokers have a higher incidence of testicular cancer.

So you do some research before spouting your conformist non-comformist bullshit.

  • @holyhell5050 Honestly? That sounds like a coincidence to me. There's no relation between what cannabis and your testicals. There are many anti tumor effects that come from marijuana that you obviously would have seen in your "profession". Explain to me why stage 4 brain tumor patients have been miraculously cured by high-THC oils extracted from cannabis? If you rubbed pot on your balls I would maybe believe that testicular cancer was more prevalent. Otherwise, you are a retard.

  • @cheeseburgerbob222 Wow. You really don't understand what you're talking about do you? Dismissing scientific studies you dislike as "coincidence", claiming there is no link between something, and accepting scientific studies you like - and you say I'm a retard?

Just because something can be shown to prevent certain types of cancer does not mean that it can't also cause other types of cancer.

Forget research, you need an education.

  • @cheeseburgerbob222 I am an extremely NON anti-drug person. As I said before, smoke in lungs, whatever the source, is very bad over time. If you think that the negatives of smoke in your lungs are negated by the supposed positives of "anti-cancer" effects of certain types of smoke, you likely also think that there's a reason for unicorns having horns. (Get it?)

  • Well for most medical drugs say do not take and drive they should just legalize it in all states and put a do not drive when high there I solved there problem it's not really that hard government

  • I just noticed that the majority location for the states that have it medical were either Yankee states or not apart of the confederacy. Interesting...

  • @nuclearthreat545 That's because the confederate states get high off of beating their slaves.

  • @mechan9 Its even funnier cause I think I remember seeing something that said the states apart of the ''north'' had higher IQ averages too

  • @nuclearthreat545 the south is primarily republican, and most republicans are against legalization..

except ron paul. ron paul 2012

  • I drive fine on weed... And it does NOT effect my memory at all.

  • ill smoke to that

  • More evidence that small amounts of cannabis used regularly will rescind many of the health problems associated with aging.

  • lol the guys voice xD

  • If a tobacco smoker only had 1 cigarette a day you see little to no harm to the lungs ether. Tobacco smoke on average smoke 30 cigarettes a day.

  • @Donbett1974 i would like to see a pot smoker smoke 30 joints a day. i think if anyone did do that they would be seeing other problems long before any lung damage though.

  • at first you say that MARIJUANA DOES NOT HARM lung function, where as smoking tobacco harms lung function in a much shorter period. I now can conclude whether the speaking man smokes or not, cause from the second part of the sentence we can conclude that marijuana harms lung function in a longer period that tobacco... BUT STILL HARMS, So how what the fuck??

  • @MrChannel5news douche bag!!!

  • herb is no at illusion its creation !! its create for DIVINE purposes for divine mind

  • Comment removed

  • joint years lol

  • To all of you who object...youre just simply ignorant and stupid...so fuck you all. Conclusion: Only use Marijuana for medicinal purposes PERIOD
