Theres a fkin ridiculous problem, i cant split the huge RAR file, so i need to extract EVERYTHING first, and then get those peices of files to ADD to ARCHEIVE.

BUT WEN I DO THAT, IM USING A SERVER WHICH COULD ONLY HOLD 20GIG, THE ARCHIEVE IS 5GIG. AND MY MEMORY GOES OVER. BS??

I've watched this video and I read on forums, how to split winrar file, BUT when I right click the file I don't see "add to archive" only "extract files, extract here, extract to" when I open the file under "commands" I see "add files to archive" when I click on that the "split to volume" section is blank and It won't let me change it or anything. What am I supposed to do?

What is the file type set to (on WINRAR) it should be RAR it will not work if it is .ZIP hope that helped

Make sure the file type is set to RAR (ON WINRAR) then it should work .ZIP doesn't

OK i have downloaded a backup wii game and my PC wont allow me to unzip some thing bigger than 4gig. now i need to unzip it ind the only way i can think of is to split the file in half and extract each one separately but i don't know how. :,( can you help me?

the reason u have this problem is that ur hard drive is working as FAT32 and does not allow u to proccess files bigger that 5gb what u can do is backup all the files u really need from the drive then right click to the drive. then format and then change the File System to NTFS when done reput ur files in and u will be able to unrar it!!! by soliting it there is no change cause when u try to exract it will extract the original file by opening both rars.what i told you is the only way!!!

Alternately you can write in subscripts after the number. k for kilobytes and m for megabytes. you can get the same results by typing in: 100m
