  • Damn, I'm sorry I missed this show, even though I must've been about three went it was being shown.

  • 20:35 Rusty is a smart kid (>_o)-b

  • thursdays ha a ha ha a ha

  • I feel the same as when I watched this as a kid. Love it. Cartoons were so much better then

  • the brain sucker guy scared the shit out of me when i was younger :L

  • Giant Robot Zombies, well shit we're screwed...

  • @6sign Three words you never wanna see in the same sentence

  • In 1999, this was one of three comic book properties that premiered on Fox Kids Saturday mornings in the fall.

Of the three, the only one to complete its run in its first year was "Avengers: United They Stand," while BG&RTBR didn't finish its full first season for another couple years, being pulled after less than ten had aired.

Given how GOOD this show is? That's incredibly depressing.

(Can we get a DVD release, please? ;-; )

  • Wow. I can't believe how lame my childhood favorites were

  • thumbs up for Tim Curry :)

  • Wait... This show, or at least this episode, is TV-PG? For real? How the standards have changed...

  • "How many fingers do ya see?"

    "Thursday."

    Hell, that's how I'd answer.

  • Where did all the creativity in cartoons go now a days.

  • Bigguy is a zombie. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • Watch the skies, coming at you, A hero of metal hue, He locks horns with disaster, For the red and white and blue, Then was born a boyrobot, Miracle of science, Ready to battle large monsters, Supercharged and quick on the draw, Pretty darn good, but he needs help, The Big Guy, he's a big deal, Heart of gold, and fists of steel, Clobbering evil entities, with Rusty at his heel, Now that they're a mighty team, The boy robot lives his dream, To be a legend in history, The Big Guy and Rusty!
  • Man: How many fingers do you see?

    Big Guy: Thursday.

lol! Sounds like the original BG AI needed some tunning up! XD

  • they dont get it im phsicic ... uh oh?!

  • i love the show but retards sing the theme song

  • Just as people have different accents and talk differently, they use different lip movements...

Not to mention there's not many people that can read lips as is... And it's not really a skill you can learn easily either, you either get it or you don't. Sure practice can help, but it's still going to be genetic...

Not to mention with the fact that they didn't program him to be an expert sharpshooter, they didn't program him to be mature... He has to learn all that...

  • thanks!

  • dwayn looks like tom hanks lol

  • Dwayne's voice actor is Tom Hanks's brother, Jim Hanks.

  • god i remember watching this show, god so many memorys

  • hahaha "suck him dry"...that sounded wrong at 15:20

  • I watched the crap out of my BG&R tape back in the day. This was my favorite episode (Along with the Blob and Edie); wonder if I've still got most of it memorized?

  • These advertisements suck. I'm not talking about the fact that there are advertisements. I mean the choices for the commercial breaks suck. If you make crappy commercials people won't want to buy your product.

  • It's amazing how a tv show gives a much different feeling compared when you were younger!

  • @pimpmyride666 do you feel different about this show watching it now?

  • Yes, the theme song doesn't sound as good as glamorous as it used to appear, Rusty looks younger because I was younger, Big Guy looks less exciting because I've seen tougher, like in Transformers, and his weapons don't look as tough because I've seen much more intense gunfire than that over the years, and the aliens look less scary. It was still an awesome show, except for the taking out of the ending. I remember when he read Pinnochio and he's like, "Wouldn't wanna be ya. No fun at all."

  • @Crackle

i know i do, i get to see the episodes i didn't get to!

  • @Crackle yeah. i don't know why...

  • The Quark Corp logo kind of resembles the Quiznos logo (not surprising given that they use a big two-tone capital letter "Q")

  • memories

  • this is a comic by frank miller

  • Stop showing Horror ads during kids shows.

  • This is the best episode in the series. It has everything, HAL parody, Tim Currey as a spider, everything!

  • oh god he gave me nightmares when i was a little kid,now imma have nightmares now XD

  • Tim Curry man! He's played everything from a singing transvestite, an evil puff of smoke, and a brain sucking spider! He's my hero!!

  • Hahahaha! TOTALLY AGREE.

  • What happened to all the good cartoons like these? You see a bunch of crap on tv these days

  • Amen to that

  • @bminsein You know, in a generation, kids are going to say the same thing about what's on today.

  • "How many fingers am I holding up?"

    "Thursday,"

  • The later ep where the intelect kicks back in has him attackng cars.

  • If Astroboy was a neurotic spaz, he'd be Rusty XD

  • wish they would put this show on dvd i miss this show from my youth

  • you and I both
