  • ok but can it play minecraft?

  • @TheEPROM9 I think he meant processing power.

  • I like the floor idea in contrast to the raised floor to get heavier dense servers in the cell. I don't see where the redundancy comes into play, with those big air handlers though. If you have several small liebert Crah's with 3 times the cooling capacity, you will never have overheating. Unless of course your chillers go down, which should be triple the capacity for a tier 3 data center. Our cells max out at 8mw, so this is small time. We have a 16mw cell it's a 4.8, which dwarfs this one.

  • too much work but they get paid hella good

  • Buenas instalaciones con mas de 1000 ordenadores con procesadores Intel core y con rendijas de aire acondicionado para no se sobre caliente los ordenadores

  • So what kind of processors do they use?

  • Hay 2000 ordenadores,

  • Creo que hay mas de 3000 ordenadores

  • I would like to know, WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED THAT MUCH IT POWER???

  • @SirMrGuyThing Do you have any idea of how much power just one rack uses. Plus aircon. Also backup systems. These places are amassing.

  • I want a datacenter :<

  • Minecraft servers?

  • so there is where pentium 4 3gz ht was made and it was weaker than athlon 64 but still a lot of stupid guys bought it, fuck intel they made lot of money from poor people.

  • @marianxtreme by which gives people jobs

  • It's the most awesome water cooled PC ever!

  • @TechnicCreations Yeah most " critical " or high end servers that can't afford to go down so they use water

  • @TylertheGeek28

I would have thought if there was a leak that would be detrimental and is too much of a risk.

  • my gosh! this is awesome!

  • wow, 10 minutes

  • @tobiastimpe I was expecting something more too, although they probably have other solutions they don't want to reveal

  • Biometrics for security !! NICE ^^

  • I wonder what is their PUE.

  • @zakzak531 what do u mean?

  • i wonder how it would be to play paintball in there.

  • wow!

  • intel use windows vista. fuck.

  • so what does intel even use these number crunchers for, like what exactly are these mission critical applications?

  • @MetalShreader probably doing stuff for architecture and design of new chips, tools, maybe emulate the chip before its done to see if its doing what it should? or just because they can would probably be the reason :P

  • I am looking any donation to end use any HW anybody doesnt need. Including all outdated SPCs etc.

  • is there any chance of such a server has AMD chip? ;D

  • @dioucastro Yep, I'm pretty sure of it. The Opetron server CPU's were an influence on the current Nehalem based Intel CPU architecture. There was a good couple of years where AMD really spanked Intel in terms of new server builds on these kind of scales. A lot of the top Supercomputers run AMD chips too along side things like the POWER6 from IBM (which was superseded with the POWER7).

  • That's a bit outdated, where is all the moisture goes? from a water, concrete? Security and many other things are way way outdated

  • Skynet!

  • ;D skynet

  • how is d future scope for the data center professionals????????

  • now i wanna be there....or work there :P

  • Nice tour.

  • A super computer is basically made to process large amount of data at a much faster rate, in the web hosting business those computer are use to created a deploy VPS virtual private servers.

  • i wanna see what that supercomputer actually does... lol

  • But the question is, can that thing run Warcraft?

  • wow i want to see more!!

  • very very good vid

  • 2000 lbs of computers 0.o

  • Thats the type of video that i like it.... informing and fun

  • That tour guy has great voice. :-)

  • Question.

The Super Computer with 14,336 cores, is that in a single blade setup? Also what Xeon's are in that system, 5000 - 5400 or 7000 series? or the new 3500 or 5500 series? I currently am working on a DATA Center for my Buisness (That can handle up to 40 CPU's, 160 Processor Cores, and 640GB memory for 4-way version SuperBlade®).

Also are these all running ESX ?

I have always used Intel CPU's as I have seen too many failures with the competitors.

    Thanks for the reply,

    Ross

  • i use to like amd but i like intel now because of speed but i still like amd for good gaming graphic

  • If one server goes down, does the entire network go down?

  • rofl im 12 and will not alow my parents to buy a amd. if you want to know hows much they like me they took me on a tour and showed me one of the places top secret facilitys not like i would of sold anything like a code then they gave me a genuine leather hand bag lol.

  • There's nothing wrong with amd...

  • AMD isn't bad they make good graphics processors, i have an intel processor nvidia chipset but i still use an amd GPU (ATI). I believe they are slower when it comes to processors but they are alot cheaper if you are on a budget, plus i heard amd makes better dual cores, Even though intel makes much better quad cores.

  • no AMD makes the ATI GPU not nvidia

  • NooooNNNnnnOOOOOnNNNNOOOOOooooooooooo nOt In MY wiiiiiiiiii noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo at least its not in my pc

  • Are you retarded? For one, your incredibly illiterate; secondly the fact that you can't join the names of the companies that make GPU's, with the actual GPU's itself. Shows the latter derogatory, to a ridiculous extent.

Anyway, you want to buy a $700 for something like Halo 2? That is sooooo fucking stupid!

  • Wait, I reread it, and I noticed I ended up missing the worst bit.

You want to buy a "Dell?" Haha, so fucking stupid. Your a really stupid kid.

  • no your just an idiot if you dont believe me look at the comments you posted on youtube go fuck yourself

  • I'm glad I didn't have to pull and terminate that cable!

  • same here!

  • thanks for posting, found that very interesting =)

  • well and i thought the max is 16 cores

  • Awesome video!

  • Impressive.

You guys do have alot of money..

  • i would like to play gta iv on that super computer :P

  • No gpu's in it...

  • It's so impressive and incredibly complex.

  • intel rules!!
