The treaty was EXTREMELY harsh on the german people especialy as they expected this treaty to be eternal - did the idiots not think for a second it would just take 1 mad man to bring out the anger of the german people and kick of another war?!

Trianon WASN'T based on democratic referendums(general equal & secret ballots)The"national councils"were elected suspiciously-way,without any local documentations. WHY? Czechs don't trust in Slovaks(because very few slovaks joined/supported the"czechoslovak"army against Hungarians(Slovaks were 48%).Romanian politicians didn't trust in Transylvanian romanians,perhabs they didn't want to join to backward poor romania(romanians were 53% in Transylvania).Serbs were minority(22%)in Southern Hungary

Teach your children well!...This is what happens when a nation has its nose rubbed in it...The great depression came along on top of everything....no wonder Hitler came to power....Any nation on earth would have reacted the same...They lost everything including their pride. The allies wanted to make sure they would not rise from the ashes..The treaty had the opposite effect..21 years later it kicked off again....and no wonder...listen here to some of the terms and conditions they had to accept!

@tony00165 Aspirin is a german drug....The patent was not allowed to run in the United States, France or Britain so the allied nations could make millions from it...I'm sure there must be many more things in the treaty that we don't know about....it was absolutely destructive.
